Awesome End Unit across from Wisp Ski and Golf Resort with Deep Creek Lake Access and Expansive Views! As you approach the unit you can’t help but take in the beautiful lake views below as you walk down the wooden path to the front door. The outdoor spaces will provide enjoyment during your stay, whether they are part of the unit or part of the wonderful community amenities. The unit has a deck overlooking the lake into the town of McHenry for enjoying that morning cup of coffee or a late nightcap. A lake side patio off the lower bedroom has a hot tub for chilly nights while watching boats on the water. Deep Creek Village community offers tennis courts, beautiful landscaping with a path down to the water, a sitting deck, common docks, and awesome views of the ski slopes no matter the season. Wisp Ski Resort is just across Marsh Hill Road and the heart of Deep Creek Lake is only a short drive away. If you are looking for a simple getaway with all the amenities you are looking for, Deep Creek Village is the place to be!

Location is great just walk across the street to wisp. It is still quiet here. Dinning and stores are close. Coolest view of sunset is a drive up the hill to the Adventure sports center international complex. There is a mile walk around this beautiful place. Great dog walk. A must to watch this in action starting wednesdays Broadfield lake is a much better place to go kayaking,with a soft landing areas and a huge beach withshade and newer playground and trails

However, the couch was very worn out and should be replaced. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was an attractive, clean, and well-furnished property. The location was good (very close to the grocery store, easy to get to the local restaurants and attractions). We definitely didn't like the air conditioning. The unit was going at full speed the entire time we were there, and the basement was quite cool. However, there was about a 10 degree rise in temperature for each level you went up. The master suite, on the top level, was pretty toasty throughout our stay, even at night. The ceiling fan helped but not enough; the heat made sleeping difficult. Perhaps the top level is more comfortable in the winter. Also, there are skylights directly over the bed in the master bedroom. Skylights with no blinds. So when the sun comes up early, you get a well-lit bedroom. Nice.

Absolute perfection

I booked this on VRBO and I was so mad when I found out it was serviced through Railey. I had a HORRIBLE first experience with them, their follow up customer service and I vowed never to go through them again. Well, they redeemed themselves with updated methods and communications.We have stayed in a few properties in Deep Creek and this was definitely the best. We have not been able to take our dog to Deep Creek in the past and this trip he came with us. I was afraid that the house would smell like dog since it is a tremendous perk to be able to bring your dog with you. Not the case! The house was adorably decorated, I didn't get that-everything is nailed down because we can't trust people feel. The welcome bag we received was nice as we overpacked the car and left out some essentials like paper towels, toilet paper and some food. I am sort of at a loss as to what to say about the house because it really was perfect. Cute breakfast nook, nice table to play games at, very comfortable couch that multiple people wanted to sleep on. The kitchen and bathrooms were spotless and the laundry was really nice to have for our wet towels.The first day we didn't have hot water, they responded quickly, let us know what to try to fix it and that worked.I really hope to stay at this house in the summer. I think we found our perfect Deep Creek home away from home!

Memorable cozy house near Lake

This cozy house has full kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a den. Basement Bathroom has jacuzzi. Bedroom has a sunroof which is really cool. Hot tub is a treat for you and your family once coming back from trials. House has a access to the lake behind and you can rent a kayak for 2 days and use it whenever you want! I would give 5 stars

End of Summer getaway

We very much enjoyed our stay and would certainly return. It was very nice to be able to take our small dog along on vacation. The house was clean and just as described. We did take a lot of things that were “required” to take that we would not have had to take. Toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, and paper towels were all provided. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings and it was very clean. We were unable to get the fireplace in the lower bedroom to work but we didn’t find it a big deal since it was August. We had a very nice time and were lucky enough to have beautiful weather.
