Need some QUALITY TIME away but want to avoid crowds and still be close to everything in Deep Creek Lake? SECLUDED and PRIVATE, this mountain community is close to it all. Our home is 1.1 miles from the top parking lot of Wisp Mountain Resort, a short drive to Deep Creek Lk, Swallow Falls State Park and Lodestone & Fantasy Valley Golf course.

There is great space for gathering indoors and out! HOT TUB on huge double-tiered deck!

The Neighborhood:
North camp is a newer, highly desirable community at the top of Wisp Mt. It is in close proximity to the ski resort's chairlifts, hiking trails, ASCI white water rafting course, 3 championship golf courses and much more. With breathtaking views and less than 10 minutes to Deep Creek Lake, this up-and-coming neighborhood blends modern-rustic charm and custom-built homes to cater to all walks of life.

Getting Around:
The driveway can fit 6 vehicles.

Other Things to Note:
During the winter months, we do have a plow service that will plow the driveway for a storm 3 inches or more. Please park over to the side which will allow the snow to be pushed. Our driveway does have an paved incline and during winter months, 4x4 is required. We have also supplied shovels for your need.

We had a trip with three families, six adults and seven kids. The space was perfect. Everybody got their own bed, every couple had their own en suite. We even had a 14 year-old with his own bedroom and en suite. The place very well appointed, clearly very new. The hot tub was tremendous with the snow falling down, very private. When we encounter a small issue, the owners replied within minutes and had someone over to fix it. If you already have your passes and skis/boards, it’s only a four minute drive to the parking lot of the Pumphouse Cafe on top of the mountain with direct access the slopes!

Deep Creek Retreat

This property was perfect for our extended family trip. Had plenty of space due to 3 living area levels. Saw deer and a bear from the porch! The area had lots to offer in the way of fun activities. Would definitely return here.

Excellent House - Super Clean

We had a wonderful three-generation family gathering this past weekend (ages 27 to 83). It had everything that was advertised and we took advantage of all of it. We played pool, used the hot tub, made smores in the fire pit, grilled outside, and hung out on the deck. We even found the quesadilla maker and used it the last night. Having a first floor bedroom with en-suite bath was necessary as my in-laws can't do stairs and this was perfect. It was delightful to be able to step out and walk around the neighborhood and not worry about traffic. For those of us who wanted something more strenuous, we drove 10 minutes to the Fork Run recreation area and did a 4 mile hike. We could definitely see staying here again.

First Class Rental.

The property was perfect for a big family getaway. We had a total of 16 people ranging in age from 4 to grandparents. The quality of the house and finishes was much nicer than other rentals we’ve had in the past. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax. The location is quiet and secluded but also just a 10 minute drive to everything you need. The hosts were very attentive and responsive and really seemed like they were committed to ensuring a satisfactory stay. We’ve always tried to move around to different locations each year, but this is one we will revisit. Five stars all around for this property.

Great location.

Great house, spacious enough for price. One of the upstairs bathrooms had a water pressure issue but overall the house was great. Nice home and location is great access to top of mountain. Only real negative is no trash cans/having to drive trash to dumpsters.

Wonderful location for a Deep Creek getaway!

Our friends and I do a big trip together every other year and we decided to do Deep Creek this year. This place was absolutely wonderful! The property is in a gated community and we saw everything from deer, wild turkeys and bears as we drove around. It was so peaceful! The house itself is beautiful and well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment (better than I've seen in most rentals), fresh linens and towels available and so much to do in the house (pool table, board games, smartTV, etc). The porch is an amazing wrap-around with ample seating and a cute swing to watch sunsets or rainstorms on...we did both :) We rented a boat for the day at the local shop and it was ~10m drive away (if that) and super easy to get to. The location is also super convenient to a grocery store, ice cream shop, mini golf, and a ropes/ obstacle course. Checking in and out was a breeze and the hosts were easy to get ahold of and communicative. It was probably one of the groups favorite locations that we've stayed at and would 100% stay here again.

Perfect home for families of all ages

Beautiful home with a beautiful view of the sunsets. Lots of living space inside and out. The two decks wrap around the house and greatly expand the functional living space. The six children, ages 8 to 3, played games on the decks, enjoyed the campfires at night and hikes in the nearby parks. For a summer vacation there are so many nearby activities and excursions to choose from. We are definitely coming back!

Stayed here with extended family for a weekend of skiing with little ones at wisp. It’s perfect because it’s close by so the little ones can easily take breaks. Plenty of rooms and great living space.

Great ski weekend!

We had a great weekend! Everything was exactly as pictured. The kitchen was well stocked and we made great use of the gas fireplace. We really enjoyed how close the house was to wisp as well as a few nearby hikes. Communication with the owner was wonderful. No complaints and would totally rent again.

The property was perfect for our large family. It was just as pictured online and met all our needs. We spent time in the large living rooms and porches, had a fire, and cooked meals in the home. We were close to local attractions. Check in was very simple and getting into the gated community was no issue with the code. We would recommend this property for a vacation spot!

Wonderful House

The house is bigger in person. Such detail in everything and was gorgeous . The only issue was roads going to the listing were not on any digital map and sometimes took us to dead roads.
