*After each booking, the home will be STRICTLY cleaned, including ozone purification, once tenants check out. For additional protection, we have installed a MedifyAir H13 whole-home medical-grade air purification system. This system cleans the air in the entire home four times per hour.

*Electric vehicles are welcome, and 50amp service is available for a small nightly fee.

Our neck of the woods is a warm and cozy modern rustic cabin located in a quiet neighborhood nestled in the woods. Our home is minutes from Cedar Point Park and the Pentwater River State Game area, where you can enjoy hiking trails and the surrounding wildlife and nature. We have access to Lake Michigan within a short walk/drive, < 10 minutes from Silver Lake Sand Dunes, < 15 minutes from Small Town Pentwater, and 45 minutes from Luddington State Park Beach. The surrounding area provides gorgeous lighthouse views, amazing Lake Michigan sunsets, and excellent hart-Montague biking trails, which also serve as snowmobile trails in the winter, canoeing, and fishing, not to mention wineries galore. You can do as much and as little as you'd like.

This is a STRICT SMOKE AND PET-FREE property that comfortably supports a maximum of 9 guests. There are also OUTDOOR ONLY security cameras.
The home features two bedrooms with one queen and one bunk bed with a full/twin combination and a loft/bedroom with two full-size beds and one large double shower. Kitchen dining provides seating for 8. There are large viewing windows that provide natural light. Games, toys, and books for the kids/adults provide a family-friendly atmosphere. The living area is cozy with an electric fireplace, a 65" TV, a home theater system, and a satellite TV. The loft also has seating areas throughout, in addition to a yoga corner.

In the summers, spring, and fall, you can enjoy all nature has to offer on the large wraparound porch and Weber grill with propane included. There are many wildlife views. Enjoy evening bonfires.

Amenities:
There is a Full Washer, dryer, full kitchen, central heat/Air, and osmosis with a water-softened whole-house filtration system for great-tasting water supplied to the refrigerator and sink faucet. Free Spectrum high-speed internet is provided.

This is a newly built property with all fresh furnishings to enjoy.

We had a great time staying in “Our Neck of the Woods!” The house was perfect for our family! The beds were really comfortable, the shower is amazing. The layout of the house made it feel much bigger than it was! We enjoyed the out door seating and picnic tables in the evenings. The whole family loved the fire ring! Everything we needed and super clean!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. We loved the proximity to the beach and enjoyed riding our bikes down each day. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The host was great with communication as well. Definitely recommend!

Summer get away

We enjoyed the home in Mears. Since we only stayed two nights we couldn’t do everything we saw that there is to do in the area, we did have a great time. The home had everything we wanted during our stay. We would definitely come back again.

Beautiful and very clean property.

Wonderful weather and VERY CLEAN and beautiful “Our Neck of the Woods ” property set the tone for an excellent vacation. Everything was clean and well maintained and “as stated” in the property description. Our host was very attentive and answered any questions that we had. I would highly recommend this property for a Lake Michigan getaway!

Just what the Dr. ordered!

This gem of a property was even bigger than it looked online. Extremely clean and well appointed home with everything you need and then some. It was also nice to be so close to the dunes area and the sunset at the county park is something you don't want to miss. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to the area.

3rd time staying here. Love the location for half the family to go to dunes, the other half across the road to lake mi beach. Love the big back deck for morning coffee or afternoon cocktail and reading. Love the firepit and walking around neighborhood.

First time in Michigan

We came to Michigan for a family vacation. We played disc golf, putt putt, and went to the amusement park. Getting to walk in the sand right along Lake Michigan was a plus! Our place was perfect! We were so close to everything we wanted to see. We all slept great and loved that we felt secluded. I would definitely come back to Mears and would stay at this beautiful home again. Beautiful, clean, relaxing

The house was perfect. We had everything we needed save a small baking pan. Everything was thoughtfully laid out and easy to find. Waking up each morning with a view of the trees was wonderful. The washer and dryer were great after a day at the beach and the kitchen was a joy to cook in. The grill on the patio was a great bonus as was the patio itself.

This house is all that is advertised. Situated in the perfect spot we are close to silver lake sand dunes but far enough away for a cozy cottage feel. Property owner is responsive and easy to work with.

Check-in was a breeze, labels on drawers, cupboards and light switches helped us a lot. The property was quiet and peaceful. The directions for checkout were clear and easy to follow. This will definitely be our first choice when looking to book in this area again
