Moonee Ponds Penthouse Room to Actually Move, Views to Match
The Space160m across three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
What You Actually Get
The kitchen is huge, with a large oven, cooktop and dishwasher for anyone who actually cooks rather than just reheats. There's a dedicated study plus a second desk area in the living room if more than one person needs to work, and a 50 HD Smart TV with Netflix for everyone else. Split-system heating and cooling cover the apartment, and solid hardwood floors run throughout. The 30m balcony is the real showstopper here two separate outdoor settings, room to properly entertain, and 180-degree views towards the city and out to the east and west, with summer sunsets that reflect off the city towers in a way that's genuinely worth sitting still for. A lift runs straight from the car park up to the apartment, so hauling luggage isn't part of the deal.
The Location, Without the Spin
You're close to the city, but not in it which is exactly the point. It's a six-minute walk to the 59 tram at Nicholson St/Fletcher St, and the city trams themselves are just 200m up the palm-lined Mount Alexander Road, free if you stay within the grid. Essendon Station is an easy walk for a quick run into the CBD, or take the train one stop to Moonee Ponds' shopping strip if you'd rather not walk the 800m down Mount Alexander Road. Queens Park, Clarinda Park and Montgomery Reserve are all close by, and the Moonee Ponds shopping precinct, Moonee Valley Racecourse and a DFO are all within easy reach with Flemington Racecourse and Tullamarine Airport not far beyond that.
