IMPORTANT INFORMATION

———————

► LIVING HISTORY COMES WITH CHARACTER

Staying here is like stepping inside a piece of Fitzroy’s living history. This apartment sits within the iconic MacRobertson building, a rare heritage conversion originating in the 1880s, with soaring ceilings, exposed brick, and all the character that modern builds can’t replicate. With that beauty comes a quirk: the sound acoustics reflect the era it was built in. You may occasionally hear the quiet rhythm of neighbouring life, just as they might hear you. The building itself is peaceful, and the residents are wonderfully respectful. It’s a privilege to be part of this space, and we ask our guests to help honour that by being mindful of noise, especially in the evenings.

► MINUT NOISE SENSOR

There is a sensor inside the apartment living area. This is NOT a camera or recording device. It only collects information on noise levels, the environment (temperature and humidity) and occupancy (motion and the number of mobile devices in the vicinity). It does not record raw audio. The data is only presented as graphs and numbers, not images or recordings.

► HOW YOU WILL BE CHECKING IN (24/7)

◈ Key Exchange Service → 325m or a 3 min drive from your apartment.

◈ Please plan your arrival accordingly. We highly recommend using a ride-share service like Uber, or a rental car to make your arrival effortless.

◈ IMPORTANT: As much as we’d love to offer a lockbox, council regulations in this area don’t permit one on-site. Instead, we’ve arranged a safer and more secure alternative through KeyNest. This is a convenient local Key Exchange Service used by hosts around the world and is very common in certain Melbourne areas due to restrictions.

NOTE: From time to time, there may be a change to this process for reasons outside our control e.g. road blocks, a sudden change in operating hours of the Key Exchange Service. This will be communicated to all affected guests in advance.

► LIFT ACCESS

There is lift access via the other side of the building and is a lengthier journey to your apartment. If you have mobility issues or are concerned in any way, please reach out to us to discuss your needs and how we may be able to assist.
