The rooms were nasty, and haven't been renovated since they bought the property from Ibis. There was so much dust behind the desk and fridge, and the carpet felt like it needed a deep cleanse

Looks nothing like the photos, do not book this hotel. My room had an open man hole in the bathroom and mould. Felt so unsafe that i had to push a chair up against the door during the night.

Jin was really helpful and provided great service. Hotel was in a very good location, quiet at night and with accesible parking a block away. I made the mistake of not validating parking ticket prior to exiting parking :( do that to ensure you pay cheaper rate.

My first room had broken aircon control, both bed lamps not working but I didn't bother until woke up mid night from lack of air. Turned on toilet fan, it sounded like airplane taking off but mid night I was too sleepy so it was ok. It made some air movement in the room by sucking from the corridor. Next morning I asked to fix and they changed my room. I was told the first one was a free upgrade to a refurbished room. Well, better they didn't upgrade, as it had tiled floor and bed was rolling from a light touch. The new room didn't undertake that sort of upgrade, bed stayed still and aircon control was working. Woke up in the morning like after hangover. Realised what happened when opened the door out - the air on the corridor felt like nothing can be fresher, apparently that aircon was not doing anything even though it was on. As it is a health hazard I don't recommend taking this hotel.

This property was rated too high for its condition. Broken elevator, public areas not clean or cared for. Front desk staff not knowledgeable about issues such as parking requirements. Room was well worn and not cared for properly.

I have stayed here many times (including when it was an Ibis), this hotel is in severe need of maintenance. I very much doubt I'll stay here again, which is unfortunate due to its location.

The room had a broken bedside light. The bathroom had a cracked airvent and black mould in corners. No window to open and only a fan for cooling the room. The bed was on wheels so I couldn't sit up and lean back as the bed rolled away!

Tired and in need of a face lift

The room was very small, barely bigger than the double bed, and tired. It really needs a coat of paint, new carpet and a solid clean. It served the purpose of somewhere to sleep, but it is average at best.

Old, tired, and dirty shower

All the Staff were lovely, but the hotel was very old and tired, in the lift the panel for the floors was taped together, in the room the two chairs were grubby, the carpet stained in the bathroom the walls around the bathtub with the shower the grouting was black with mould and the same with the shower screen. A GOOD clean would not go amiss

Read the Reviews!!! I didn’t until after my stay and had all the same issues as others. The room was not clean there was rubbish under the beds, no top sheet and mattress protectors were stained. Hole in the ceiling. Beds are on wheels that don’t lock so roll around as you sit and lay on them as the room is not carpeted. The rubbish bins were not cleaned just a new bag put in over top of the yuck. You have to be a contortionist to use the toilet paper that is positioned on the same wall as the toilet. Key cards are inserted and half the time didn’t work especially in the elevator. If you need to leave your luggage in a holding area you run the risk of it being stolen as it’s not staffed you put it in and take it out yourself along will all the other ppl staying there. $100 bond has not been returned after 1 week of stay I’ve emailed with no response as yet. However the staff were all friendly and we had no trouble with them and the location of the hotel was fabulous with Spencer st station just up the road and lots of eateries around. Will not stay here again but will definitely look for places around this area again.
