Absolutely horrible. We never even got out of the car it was that bad. The neighborhood is extremely unsafe. We were approached by pan handlers/drug addicts twice in the neighborhood. The main house is falling apart, with panels falling off and windows broken out. If that wasnt bad enough, we realized we weren't even staying in the main house. The "cozy escape" we were to be staying in was actually the dilapidated garage out back next to the alley, with a creepy old camper leaning up against it. This was something straight out of a horror film. If we had stayed my car would have definitely been stolen or stripped and we may not have made it through the night without being murdered. Do not waste any money on this place unless you are mentally prepared and armed to protect yourself. VRBO needs to rate the neighborhoods these properties are in so someone can tell if they are getting themselves in an unsafe situation. I am absolutely shocked and upset we had to deal with this. We had nowhere to go since we couldnt stay there, so we had to drive 4 hours all the way back home. I have the gas receipts to prove it. The owner refused to acknowledge my email stating all of this the day we got there, and continued to charge me for not only one, but two nights, even though we couldnt even get out of the car in fear for our lives. The owner even sent me a checkout email, but totally disregarded my email to them. This is the worst experience ive ever had with VRBO. They should be ashamed!
