What a lovely little slice of heaven. Sitting on the beach with a fire and not another person around. Loved the friendly staff and easy check in. Clean comfortable room. Thank you for a wonderful relaxing evening.

Spring Valley is my go to hotel every time. I go see my aunt it’s a beautiful place. The lake is wonderful. You can walk around it. It’s even great in the winter. The owners make it like home for me.

The pictures on the site are 100% nothing like the property. I booked through Expedia last minute as it was to cold to camp. When I booked I was 300 or so miles away and it was intended for the next day. The reservation went through for the same day which would not work. I immediately called the motel. The man said go through Expedia for the refund but we have nothing available the next day. Which we found out wasnt true. I then called Expedia., who called the motel who said we will refund the first day if they book the following day but it will cost 8 dollars more. I agreed. We showed up the next day paid for the second night with the understanding the first nights fee would roll into the charge. Went to the open room and it was dirty smelled musty and we left. Expedia then informed me no reimbursement was coming. So we paid for 2 nights didn't stay 5 minutes, were lied to, etc. This has never happened to us before. A total dishonest buisness. If I was local to here I would take this to court.

The motel is a gimmick. Its old and dirty. Smells. Absolutely NOTHING like it shows in the pictures. They should not be on Expedia. They are charging prices that are extortionate for filth, stale musty rooms, stained carpets..
