Paradise away from home

This house is a dream come true! We could see the ocean from the front of the house. As US tourists traveling as a family to Mexico for the first time, we had some anxieties that were soon put to rest. Casa de Rose is absolutely beautiful, and every comfort has been carefully considered. The traditional Mexican charm and personality of the surrounding city is delightful. Our host-appointed, Jorge, greeted us with genuine warmth. He's been attentive throughout the trip, with any small questions or concerns we have. Check-in was a little fussy, with the entrance to the house being behind some fairly intense bars and gates, but he was professional while we got everything settled. The bedrooms are all good sized and very comfortable, with better beds than most hotels I've slept at. Plenty of space for a large family! The air conditioning in the bedrooms and fans throughout the living space are sufficient to keep the space a comfortable temperature. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare simple meals.There is a washing machine on site in good repair. Washed clothing must be line dried, but it dried quickly in the heat. The smallest bedroom is right by the road, which stays busy most of the night. If you're not used to city sounds, bring earplugs for sleep. We have felt safe and comfortable throughout the entire visit. We would recommend this vacation to anyone with an open heart and eye for adventure. You'll be glad you stayed at Casa de Rose.
