There was dog hair or some kind of hair all in the sheets. The floors were dirty around the bed and it looked like it hadn’t been dusted in a while.

We had to switch rooms because none of the lights worked in our room, then in the new room the sheets were dirty, 4 people in one room but only gave us 2 towels (2 queen bed) and when we were going down to the lobby to check out someone had threw up (or something worse) in the elevator and no one bothered to clean it up they just put a wet floor sign next to it. After all that we chose to skip breakfast. We had never stay at a Tru hotel before and the atmosphere seemed nice but this location kinda ruied any furture stay at a Tru for us.

Decent for the price
The stay here was pleasant however the only thing I had a problem with was the noise. It seems as though the hotel wasn't built with sound proof material. You can hear people in the hallway clearly from your room, I was on the third floor and all night I could hear the people above me walking around. Didn't get much sleep because of that.

The 9-star rating was a big reason we booked but were disappointed to find a small room, sheets that kept coming off the bed, difficult-to-work remote, etc. nothing was bad but it was certainly less than expected.
