My stay was great the staff was really friendly and kind. But omg they definitely need BLACK OUT CURTAINS ALL THE LIGHTS FROM THE OUT DOOR LIGHTS AND FROM ACROSS THE STREET HOTEL WAS BEAMING IN THRES THE SHEER CURTAINS I CANT BELIEVE THEY ONLY HAVE SHEER CURTAINS UP. I did not get any rest at ALL . I rather stay at another hotel with black out curtains so I can rest . But other than that everything else was great. Now im tied and have a long drive home.

The property is old and needs to be updated. I paid for a King suite and in the sitting area the couch was nasty with stains all over it and the refrigerator did not work 😒. I asked for a room change and it was the exact same conditions. I was expecting much better after the reviews that I had read online before booking this hotel. The staff that I did encounter was pleasant but if you're looking for a good clean nice hotel this is not it.

Had a great experience at this hotel. It was clean, as advertised, staff were all pleasant although there seemed to be substantially more than I recall ever seeing at any other hotel. Room wasn’t exorbitantly big, but was exactly what we needed. Didn’t see great views, but didn’t go there for that reason. Overall, very satisfied.

This is the place to stay in Merrillville IN

The room was very clean and smelled fresh. The breakfast was a full breakfast with eggs, sausage links, buscits and gravy and waffles. There is also plenty of bahles, fruit and cereal. Staff were VERY friendly. We asked the lady doing the check-in where a good Mexican restaurant was and she directed us right door the El-Poblamo. It was a great recommendation.

The hotels next to this place aren’t the greatest. Had a hard time finding the entrance of the hotel. Room had a musty smell and the pool is outdoors making it iffy for use. But otherwise nice,‘clean place

Very bad. Didn’t make it into hotel. There were two ladies staying at hotel that were drug addicts with both arms shot up. Area was unsafe. They were sitting by entrance and went into hotel. I immediately left as this was not safe for my family.
