Staff members were great; however, during check in, they informed us they had my wife and I booked into a two double bed room, instead of the king bed room that we booked (months in advance). Essentially they had no solution other than offering free breakfast. Of note, my wife and I were traveling for our 40th birthdays and were away without the kids for the first time in 7 years. Understanding they probably had no ability to offer us our originally booked king bed room, we accepted the daily breakfast for four mornings. Compliments to the wait staff there, especially Hugo, who made our morning routine exceptional. The room was loud on some nights. There was a wedding one night and guests in rooms beside us were very loud at 2-3am and banging on our door. Despite the complaints, the hotel is in a very convenient and central location and we had an amazing time in Mexico City.

The stay was amazing and the workers were awesome up until it was time to leave. I asked for a taxi and the front desk said they would call someone. Not knowing the average price of the ride from the hotel to the airport, I said ok to the price. As I expected a taxi, I ended up getting an unmarked vehicle. When we entered to go to the airport as the hotel staff confirmed it was the vehicle, I decided to check the price of an uber, I came to find out I was charged 4 times the average price of an uber. The hotel and staff was awesome up until that time.

Clean, comfortable and modern room. Very nice hotel, gorgeous roof top pool but disappointing the main area around the pool gets taken up by the roof top bar and doesn’t allow for areas to lounge in the sun. The roof top bar is very cute though!

Loved this hotel. The entire staff was courteous and friendly from the moment we arrived at the Andaz until we left. My room was cleaned daily and was comfortable quiet. The fitness room was pretty decent for something you'd find in a hotel. The rooftop bar/restaurant was perfect for a lazy evening. The Andaz is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and close to plenty of neighborhood restaurants and a beautiful park. I highly recommend the Andaz.

Everything was great until we left $1500 in a purse in our room. It was our fault to forget it and tempt the workers, but when we came back, the money was not there. You would think that a five star hotel would not let this type of stuff happen because everyone forgets stuff in their room.

The hotel was so lovely with beautiful greenery and chic ambiance. Everyone was very friendly, and that breakfast! The breakfast is incredible. I'd come back for that alone. I will absolutely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Location and comfort

Excellent location, good vibe and overall amenities. A bit pricey for what you get and the pool is a bit of a let down. Would appreciate more places to lay down and lounge.
