This is a boutique style hotel but with fantastic amenities. The coffee shop is open 24 hours and the menu is great. The beds were super comfortable. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to book a hotel in the historic district.

Phenomenal Five-Day Stay – Highly Recommended!

We spent five days at this hotel and it was phenomenal. As travel enthusiasts, we always have the same questions and concerns as anyone reading this—especially about safety. Being American, that’s usually our first thought. I can confidently say that staying at this hotel felt just as comfortable and secure as being back home. The hotel is impeccably clean, the check-in staff and waiters are first-class professionals, and everyone we encountered was so kind—especially the bellhops and waiters (I wish I remembered all their names, but thank you so much to each of them!). The 24-hour café is fantastic—the food is great, and if you enjoy a beer, they offer free beer, which I definitely appreciated.

Amazing experience, we go to CDMX once a year, and they always receive us like family. We will only stay here when visiting CDMX. Elizabeth and Fabiola, and all the staff are womderful. As a bonus, the food is good in the cafe and restaurant, and it’s super clean and welcoming. I love this hotel.

The cleanliness of the hotel overall was great. The room I was given was stuffy and humid. The air conditioner did not appear to be working. The front staff, the waiters and the bell boys were excellent. They were polite and accommodating, in particular the breakfast staff. However the cafe staff were not always friendly. Both the breakfast and cafe had great options. I liked that they had water available for guests in the lobby, at all time in addition to apples.

Awesome hotel! Well kept, friendly staffs. Feeling safe with security around the clock. Located in historic district and easy to walk around to must visit building and museum. I will stay there again if I come back to visit Mexico City!

This is my 3rd time staying at Historico Central Hotel and as always it was an incredible experience, beginning with the welcome mezcal/tequila shots to welcome us. The included breakfast is delicious and the complimentary access to the cafe was convenient as we had coffee and lunch their every day! The selection was extensive. All staff are welcoming and helpful, making my friends first trip to Mexico unforgetful. Ulises one of the workers recognized me upon check in from my previous stay and made sure to check in with us everyday. We even received a goodbye gift! Will forever recommend this hotel and will continue to stay here as they truly make a trip to Mexico city feel safe , welcoming and soooo much better. Not often have I had a hotel experience as i do here.

We stayed at this hotel for 10 days and had a wonderful experience! The location is convenient. While the rooms were on the smaller side, they were very clean and the beds were comfortable. A special shoutout to our lovely cleaning person who noticed my son reading and thoughtfully left him a beautiful bookmark. He absolutely loved it! The staff was incredibly friendly and always happy to help with outing ideas and local tips. We also really appreciated the 24-hour café. This is an amazing hotel with lots of heart. We’ll definitely be staying here again next time we visit!
