Great Location- room for improvement
I recently stayed at this property and had a mixed experience. While the location is fantastic, with many nice cafes, restaurants, and a cute dog park nearby, there were several areas that could use improvement.
First, the house gets extremely hot during the day, and the fans provided don't help much. It would be great if AC could be installed. Additionally, the current system for accessing the building via an app was inconvenient. Some members of our group were uncomfortable downloading the app and sharing their information, so they relied on me to get in and out. We were told in a somewhat condescending manner that everyone needed their own code to enter. Providing fobs instead of requiring an app would be much more user-friendly.
The living room blinds also need attention. The side blinds don't work well, and there's no coverage in the middle section where the couch is, making it difficult to block the sun. Speaking of the couch, the blue one in the living room is very worn out. It felt like it was on the brink of breaking and was uncomfortable for my grandmother to sit on. New mattresses and pillows for the beds would also enhance the comfort, as the current ones are quite old. Additionally, the towels provided were stained and worn out.
It would also be helpful to have some bowls available, as there were only plates provided. During our stay, the water was turned off twice without notice, leaving us without options for the whole day, which was quite inconvenient.
