Great house with beautiful backyard

We stayed in early March. The place is beautiful and well-cared for. This was a family vacation for us with my grown sons and their wives and we all had plenty of room. I was solo so stayed in the little shed in the HUGE backyard. I loved it. So quiet, cool, and peaceful. We enjoyed the kayaks and caught nice peacock bass in the canal. We walked to a very nice Cuban juice bar about a half mile away and enjoyed the great restaurants in the area and lots of Everglades fishing along the nearby Tamiami Trail.

Great stay

The house was great. The guest house has no bathroom but it was stated in another review. So it really wasnt an issue for us . The neighborhood was quite . Did fish the canal in the back it is a little tricky but with patience you can catch fish. Had one issue and the owner was quick to fix it. We had a great time and would stay again .

Amazing stay!!

We had a great time! The house was perfect for our family. We were able to host local family members for dinner with ease. The location was perfect and the house was amazing. Clean and well equipped. We used the kayaks daily, huge plus!!

Great stay!

This house was nicely decorated and renovated. We had plenty of space for me, hubby, kids, and grandma. Everything was nice and clean. There was house book with easy to follow info. We loved the nearby fruteria

It does not have exactly 4 bedrooms

The house itself is really good. Well located. Clean, spacious and well stocked with all necessities. Our only complain, and it is a BIG one, is that the listing said it had 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Upon arrival, we couldn’t find the 4th bedroom. When I called the host, my surprise was that the 4th bedroom was outside, a shed, right next to the creek and not connected to the house or bathrooms. It is well decorated but has a TERRIBLE smell of damp. As a large family, we needed the beds located on the shed but it was so smelly that it was impossible to sleep there (2 brave members tried one night and it was not a pleasant experience- a lot of antihistamines were required). Also, since the “room” is outside the house, one needs to leave the house unlocked so the people in the shed can come in to use the bathroom. But, the door to the shed looks like someone has tried to break into it, so it makes you feel unsafe to leave any house doors unlocked. All in all, the house is great but the listing is very misleading. It created a lot of conflict (my elderly mom was supposed to stay with us and had to find other accommodations at the last minute) and we had to acquire an inflatable mattress for someone to sleep in a room with another couple- not expected when you rent a house with enough rooms and beds for everyone!!!

A perfect home for recovery after surgery

I had major surgery and needed a place away from home to stay with my family during recovery... and this gem was available. We were so blessed to have such a well stocked home, close to my doctor’s office, hospitals, restaurants and a great neighborhood! We felt safe and loved the little touches the owner/host provided... A binder with information on the area, cable TV (what a terrific bonus), kayaks, hot tub, fully stocked kitchen, great bedding, gorgeous decor! It’s a perfect home for anyone that needs a special home away from home. Thank you, Cristian for allowing us to stay!

Perfect Vacation Stay

My wife, daughter, and grandson spent the last week of March 2021 at this property. It is well located in a very quiet neighborhood but easily accessible to the Florida Turnpike and other major routes. The interior of the house is tastefully decorated and immaculate. Everything needed for meal preparation and snacks is provided. The covered patio is wonderful for reading or birdwatching and the two kayaks are a wonderful bonus. We did not use the shed/bedroom but it would be a great place if the space was needed. Christian was easily reached to answer a question or two. Overall this is clearly a five star property which we would rent again in an instant.

BEST VACATION RENTAL EVER! 💯

I will always remember this beautiful home on the canal. It’s right in Sunset at a really good location. As this is not our first rental off of Vrbo, this price is excellent! I stayed with my family of 7 and there was way more room than needed. I am so happy we found this place. I will start from check in- Cristian blessed us with early check-in as we arrived early. Upon entry into the home, we were amazed with this up-to-date renovated home. It has a beautiful with open concept with great decor. Binder in front with rules. They are simple and straight to the point. Smart appliances, remote operated ceiling fans, freshly prepared jacuzzi with a beautiful scenery. Disinfectant, hand sanitizer, and first aid kits were placed all throughout the house. Cristian was readily available to answer any questions— even at 3am. Fully stocked kitchen, bathroom, EVERYTHING! The guest room had additional equipment and supplied for outdoor activities to include fishing rods, tables, chairs, life jackets, games, etc. Everything we needed to entertain ourselves and others was available. The only thing that could have been better was the temperature of the shower water— it would not get hot. Warm was the best we received and it didn’t last long. I am sure it could have been resolved with a phone call, but it wasn’t anything to cry about. We felt special from the beginning to the end. Every room was lovely, super clean with most comfortable bedding I have ever slept on! Overall, my family and I had the best stay ever in Sunset, FL. We definitely will try to reserve this same place as we return next year and I have no issues recommending this place. 10/10.
