The hotel was inviting and the staff were friendly from the front desk Michelle to Concierge Huberto to the valet and cleaning service. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. U M family weekend was great! My suggestion to the hotel is the breakfast area can be updated with more aesthetic furnishing that is conducive for dining in a rush society. The omelet station was a must

This is a very old property and its age shows. It’s a solid 3 star hotel not 4. However even at 3 star hotels I haven’t had the same general comfort issues this hotel has. To start the humidity in our room approached 90%. That is well above the 50% average level. 60% is max. Fortunately the hotel has a small arsenal of dehumidifiers knowing this is an issue. I’m over 50 and I don’t think I’ve ever had to dehumidify a hotel room. I have emptied gallons upon gallons of water during my stay. The caulking in the bathroom is worn and in some cases mold is forming in the corners. The fixtures in many places are rusting -prob bc of the humidity. The couch in our suite reminds me of my college dorm room and the top cushions are contorted downward after years of heavy use. There is a nice terrace in our suite; however there is a 1/2 inch gap due to deteriorated weather stripping that allows outside air to easily enter the room. During heavy wind and thunderstorms the wind gusted through this gap. The gym is awesome with top of the line equipment. The concierge is very helpful.

The mattress is soft and old very difficult to get good sleep AC was noise it . The pool are and the pool needs an upgrade, as well as the pump of the water fountain by the pool does not work and we can hear the noise from the 5th flloor

Definitely use valet instead of self-parking. The Executive Suite was excellent and highly recommended for the extra cost. And definitely get the breakfast option. Breakfast was wonderful! The hotel was beautiful, staff was friendly, location was excellent. There is nothing negative to say.

I liked the property. Checking in staff was good. Check out staff not so good. Also hotel charge 25 dollar destination fee per day. As per Expedia u pay what u see on the booking. So not happy about that.
