The location of the house is great. Close to pool, park, and fishing pier. Beachwalk is a great resort community overall. Rustic but charming. We stayed at the end of a busy summer so expected some wear and tear. Beds were comfy, the screen porch lovely right on Lake Kai. That being said the carpet smelled, pet hair on sofa and the kitchen didn’t have enough items to make a meal, just the bare minimum. (Pots,pan, utensils, mixing bowls- looked like they were picked from a garage sale)

Nice view from screen porch and quick access to clubhouse. Size of the beach and qualty of sand at Lake Michigan access down street exceeded expectations. Interior of home in great shape, clean and kitchen well equipped. Exterior plus landscaping around home front back and along with lakeside patio/firepit area needs a refresh.

Graduation Getaway

We stayed with another family to celebrate a HS graduation. Was a really fun community with a lot of great activities! The house was really nice and perfect for two small families! The property managers were awesome! The house had a MAJOR plumbing issue upon arrival. Turns out that tree roots drilled through and clogged the main sewage line out to the street. This is entirely NOT the fault of the manager/owner, still they had an emergency plumber arrive within an hour on a Friday night to clean the line out. As they say, $h!t happens, LOL, but the property managers were rockstars about it!

Great time and location

Loved the house and set up. Lots of space. My wife and I and our five adult kids all stayed and we had plenty of room. Great screened in porch area and beautiful view of Lake Kai. Highly recommend.

Wonderful place right on the lake

Peaceful, clean home on the lake. We went for thanksgiving and the kitchen was so well stocked, I could make a holiday meal here! We loved the place and will likely be back.

Perfect Fit

This house was a perfect fit for us. The screened-in porch was great for meals and games. The second floor deck was great for lunches and sunning. The house is right off the fishing dock and between the pool and the boats. Clean and well equipped. 5 stars!

Steel Away was conveniently located near Lake Michigan. Well stock with anything you would need. The lake was awesome for fishing with the grandkids and beautiful in the morning to enjoy with your coffee.

Perfect Girls' Getaway!

We had a delightful weekend celebrating a big event with 6 girl cousins. The house was beautiful, the community is charming and the lake view was relaxing! We will visit again!

Great place, cleanliness needed

This rental is in a great location. short distance to the beach, but the views from the porches overlooking the lake are the best place to watch the sunrise. However, the house is not the cleanest. We found candy and dirt on the floor, the rugs really need to be washed or replaced, and the house could really use just some TLC. The ladies in the front office were super friendly and helpful. we did enjoy our stay and would still return.

Great Location!

This was our 5th time at the Beachwalk and this was the best location yet! The house was great, plenty of space and the screen porch was perfect but the 2nd floor deck was even nicer!! Beautiful view of Lake Kai! tons of kitchen supplies and 2.5 baths was really nice too!

Quick getaway

Size of the house was perfect for 6 people. Location being on the lake was wonderful . Inside was nicely decorated. It would have been nice if there was one tv upstairs. Screened porch wa great to look at the lake and watch the kids fishing. But there was green mold on the woodwork all around the porch and it would have been better if that was cleaned. We would rent this house again.
