There is a pedestrian zone here with many interesting stores. Visit the famous Hindsgavl Castle and Europe's only ceramics museum, the Clay Museum, on foot. The nature around Middelfart is incredibly beautiful. Here you can walk from the harbor front to a large wooded area bordering the Little Belt. Bring your fishing rod too, there are unique opportunities for fishing and swimming here. Odense is a pleasant drive from Middelfart, and the many attractions in central Jutland are not far away either, e.g. Legoland, Givskud Lion Park or Randers Regnskov.
