Rural Equestrian Farm Stay within easy reach of Taupo and Rotorua

You will be staying in the private guest wing of our Lodge on our Equestrian Property.
The property is situated half way between Rotorua and Taupo along the Waikato River. A short 10 mins drive to Orakei Korako Cave and Thermal Park in one direction or 16mins to Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland in the other. The perfect location to explore our beautiful region.

The Two bedrooms (One with Queen Bed, the other is a King bed that can be made up as a King or two Single Beds) and bathroom are part of the main lodge but accessed privately with your own entrance. All linen and towels are provided, the bathroom is equipped with shampoo and body wash. The bedrooms are lovely and quiet and black out curtains provide a dark space if you require that to sleep; alternatively keep the curtains open and go to sleep watching the stars without any light pollution and wake up to the ultimate sunrise.

The kitchen, lounge and dining area is across the paved courtyard separate to the house and is private to your booking. This overlooks our horse arena with views out across the Waikato River and beyond.
The kitchen area is well equipped for a short stay with the following cooking facilities:
microwave, toaster, toasted sandwich maker, hotplates with saucepan and frying pan, small George Forman grill, slow cooker, fridge and freezer. All plates, cutlery and cooking utensils are provided.
We have guest outside seating and a BBQ area that looks out over the horse arena with stunning views over the river.

Our property has 360degree views and is an idyllic quiet location. We welcome families with children, we have two small children of our own so please ask if you need anything as we may be able to accommodate additional requests.

We are a working equestrian farm so you may get to see horses being trained and worked with. Unfortunately, at this time we do not offer riding for guests, but you are welcome to bring a carrot or apple and feed the horses over the fence.
