This is a fabulous beautifully presented 3 bedroom ground floor apartment in the prestigious and highly sought after gated community of La Cala Golf.

The La Cala Golf Resort is one of Europe´s largest resorts, boasting three 18 hole courses, a 6 hole practice course, an elegant hotel, spa indoor heated pool and clubhouse, plus a golf academy. All of these amenities are tucked away in a stunning valley, with superb views of the surrounding countryside and the Mediterranean Sea.
The apartments and houses at La Cala golf are privately owned and not a part of the resort itself.

We have stayed at the apartnent before and really enjoy La Cala Golf resort, played golf and enjoyed the beach which is a 10 minute drive. The apartnent had everything we need and the checkin and out was very efficient.Will definately book again.

Stunning apartment with a stunning view!

From the moment we were checked in by Tania we knew it was going to be a perfect holiday! The apartment is stunning and had everything you could possibly need and more. We’ve stayed in a lot of villas and apartments and this is up there with the very best. The view from the terrace is beautiful and everything around it was perfect too. We didn’t hire a car and used the local taxi company who were super efficient. I cannot recommend this highly enough and we will definitely be back. Thanks to Tania for being so helpful throughout our stay.

My husband and I went out first and then we were joined by our sons and girlfriends for the last 9 days. We had a great time, mainly at the beach but we did visit the pool, which was really nice. This holiday works well for us, as the boys play golf and the girls visit the Spa, everyone happy! The appartment itself was extremely comfortable and very well equiped, we will definately be going back.

As described and wonderful

The property is exactly as described and photographed on the website. It's conveniently located near the driving range (150 m away) and it's just a short walk of 10 minutes down the hill to the La Cala club house. Taxis are available at the club house to take you back up the hill if you are too lazy to walk, at a cost of 4.6 Euros. The views from the apartment are wonderful and its worth getting up early to watch the sun rise. Air conditioning is super effective and the apartment tastefully furnished and decordated. All in all, a 5* experience. Thanks for the stay.

5 Star Apartment

This holiday apartment is a very high standard. The quality of all the furniture and beautiful finishings really set this apart from other places we have stayed in. You have everything you need for a very comfortable stay, even including a box full of adapters which is really useful with the amount of gadgets people have these days. The outside area and pool is immaculate also. It's very quiet but may be it was just the time of year. The pool was too cold to get in. You are high up in the hills but it is easy to book a taxi and they are outside within 5 minutes. It is about 12 euros to get down to the beach. I also booked a Mercadona delivery which was really helpful, saved having to go to the shops on our first day. I would highly recommend this apartment and will probably return when we next visit the area. A beautiful holiday home.

Beautiful and luxurious apartment

The apartment is modern and very beautiful with marble floors, artwork and a well equipped kitchen. Everything you need is there. The bedrooms are spacious with high quality beds. The air conditioner keeps all the rooms just as cool. It takes less than 15 minutes to get to the beach, which is not overcrowded like in other towns (like Fuengirola and Torremolinos), but go early because finding a parking space can be difficult. Go for the Playa de la Butibamba. When it was too hot, we just spent time near the pool. It’s nice that you can park your car in the garage, so it’s not in the burning sun and you can start your day cool. We had great fun and made trips to Málaga (visited the Alcazaba and Roman theatre), Benalmadena (take the cable car to see the birds of prey show on the mountain top), Ronda (beautiful!), Marbella (book the 10 am walking tour in the old town), Puerto Banus and Gibraltar. In Gibraltar you can buy tax free liquor and cigarettes. There’s a great steak restaurant, El Jinete, just a few minutes from the apartment. Or pick up some delicious (and cheap) pizza’s at pizzeria Parra in nearby Fuengirola. I'll be back.

La Cala Golf Resort

WOW! We have just got back after a week in the property and what a place to stay. Amazing property owned by an amazing gentlemen. Communication was excellent incredibly attentive. We advised we would be arriving late and Adrian organised someone to meet us at the proprty and equally with Adrian she was also incredibly helpful. The property was exactly as described and infact i would say; i felt I knew the place from the accurate photos displayed on VRBO. The external ammenities, like the swimming pool, was also exactly as described and we spent many hours in and around the pool. A friendly environment throughout and a very happy and enjoyable holiday had by all. Before writing this review i asked each one of our family how they rated the property and facilities, so age ranges 12, to 56 and everyone without hesitation rated as 10 out of 10. I would very happily stay again at some point in the future. Then yesterday our last day the agent who looks after the property came to meet us as agreed, again the common trend of pleasant helpful and very professional, which meant we got away on time after the hand over. I cannot praise the quality of the equipment and the furnishings available for our stay enough. There is not a thing I could fault. Thank you so much Adrian for your communication and accomodating our late arrival / departure. I'm trying to plan a long weekend of golf so I may well be in touch for that.

In the mountains with the hawks.

Talk about peace and quiet, what a wonderful place to get away and enjoy tranquility. It was wonderful to sit on the veranda and watch the fledgeling hawks that were nesting on the building. The apartment is fully equiped and was clean and very comfortable. We were a party of five, 2 in mid fifties, 2 mid twenties and a 17 year old. There is an extra tv in the master bedroom which came in handy because there is a lot of good quality DVDs that you can watch and there is also netflix. Everyone was impressed with the beds which were very comfortable. The bathrooms 2 ensuite and a third with a shower are very nice and have good water pressure and oodles of hot water. This apartment is to the back of the complex and does not get direct sunlight and is therefore beautifully cool. We were here at the start of June and only used the air conditioning seldomly at night, as there was no need. The air conditioning if needed is the best I've ever experienced in Spain. We had a hire car which I would deem essential, however, if you want to taxi into La Cala it will cost a party of four about €11, a party of five in a minibus €16, not including tip. There is a golf clubhouse and an hotel about a ten minute walk down a very steep hill, not condusive for an unfit mid fifties man to walk back from in the heat, but they are nice and there is a restaurant there too. Kids can play tennis here for a tener. We are not golfers but even we could see that this place is a golfers paradise, the golf courses were immaculate. All in all would come back in a heartbeat.

Nous avons séjourner au mois d'août avec mes enfants de 13 ans 5 ans et un bébé de 20 mois c'est un superbe appartement tellement propre la cuisine est tout equipe ils ont penser a tout les extensible il manque vraiment tien tout est sur place la proprete l'espace les accees la terasse juste magnifique et talia est tres professionnel et a l'écoute je n'hésiterai pas a revenir merci pour tous. Appartement exceptionnel !

Très très bon séjour dans cet endroit fabuleux à dix minutes de la mer et de tous les commerces. La nouvelle décoration de l'appartement est magnifique et il est très bien aménagé que ce soit en mobilier ou en équipements, appartement digne d'un 5 étoiles. Un grand merci à Tania pour son excellent accueil et sa disponibilité et à Adrian pour nous avoir permis de profiter un maximum de notre premier jour et dernier jour par un aménagement des horaires. Nous recommandons très vivement cette location et espérons pouvoir venir très bientôt.

Comme à la maison

Nous sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour dans ce logement très confortable. On se sent comme à la maison. Lynn nous a très gentiment accueilli et répondu à nos questions. Je recommande ce beau logement. La piscine est superbe aussi. Merci Adrian et peut être à l'année prochaine

Fantastique, je recommande vivement.

La première fois que j'ai loué l'appartement, c'était très bien mais là c'est encore mieux. Remplacement du mobilier, de l'électroménager, du linge de maison et équipement de la cuisine améliorée. Tout est fait pour que l'on se sente comme à la maison. Et que dire de la réactivité et de la gentillesse de Tom et Emma, nos contacts sur place. En effet, nous avons rencontré un problème avec le chauffe-eau le dimanche matin, et en 1 heure un technicien est intervenu pour réparer !! Merci et bravo à eux sans oublier Adrian, bien sûr.... Location exceptionnelle, excellentes prestations

La location est fidèle à l'annonce. Tout est fait pour passer un excellent séjour dans un havre de paix et de nature. Résidence très bien entretenue, piscine très agréable, appartement spacieux, lumineux, très bien aménagé et qui dispose d'une belle terrasse ayant vue sur la montagne et la mer. Accueil vraiment très chaleureux et des hôtes aux petits soins... Merci à eux. En résumé, tout était parfait et nous avons passé 12 jours formidables. Je recommande sans hésitation.

Appartement très agréable, confortable et spacieux. La literie est excellente, les salles de bains sont grandes et bien équipées. La cuisine est bien aussi. L'ensemble est propre. La météo ne nous a pas permis de profiter ni de la piscine, ni trop de la terrasse, mais ça doit être bien l'été. Vue de hauteur, sur le trou nº 15 de l'America (pour les golfeurs !). Situé à moins d'un km du club house du golf et à côté du practice, l'appartement a un très bon emplacement. Place de parking privée au sous-sol et accès direct par l'ascenseur à l'appartement, ainsi qu'au rez-de-chaussée, pour ressortir à pied. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut à Mijas pour s'approvisionner durant le sejour, un très bon restaurant quasi incontournable (Chez Jinete) juste après le complexe de La Cala Resort. Et le restaurant du Club House du Golf, ainsi que le bar à tapas dans l'hôtel, (ouverts à tous) sont délicieux ; vastes choix et personnel agréable. Sans aucun doute, un plaisir d'y revenir, et dans le même appartement et dans le même environnement.

INOLVIDABLE!!

La casa es fantástica. Un sueño. Es acogedora, espaciosa y muy muy cómoda. Tiene todo lo que puedas imaginar desde la cocina hasta la terraza pasando por los tres baños. Mención aparte para los dos baños principales. La tranquilidad del conjunto residencial es fantástica y cenar en la terraza o ver amanecer desde ella no tiene precio. La casa está amueblada y decorada con muy buen gusto. La plaza de garage es amplia para un coche grande y los accesos a la casa sin problemas. La playa de la Cala de Mijas estás a 11 minutos en coche y no ha sido complicado aparcar. En resumen un sitio espectacular para disfrutar de la provincia de Málaga.
