Exquisite food. Top quality drinks and overall facilities were top notch. Luxury all the way through. Can't wait to return next year. Missing it already
Lovely hotel maintains a very high standard. Excellent location with amazing views. Exceptionally clean. Lovely food, plenty of sunbeds to go round. Staff very friendly and accommodating.
A good hotel compared to the close by alternatives
The positives are the quality of the staff, the poolside area. I cannot comment on the dinner menu, the lunch menu and the food were average. Breakfast was fine. The room - in the studio block, was fine but minor technical issues need attention, fro example the plug in the wash basin could stay closed because the pop up handle on the tap had broken.
Hotel room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Hotel food was amazing. Staff efficient and friendly. In the day it was relaxing by the pool with cocktails. In the evening day the night away with live music. Have recommended this hotel to many friends.
We spent three nights to celebrate our friends birthday. The location , friendly staff and superb dining ( plus nightly entertainment suitable for the high standard of the hotel ) made the occasion one we will treasure. This is definitely a top quality hotel that is relaxed and welcoming yet makes you feel special. Definitely worth a return visit.
We joined John and his staff for a week from 23/05/14 and what a great time we had . Plenty of English staff and 95% UK holiday makers . The food was like eating in a top restaurant every night which did nothing for my waist line and the Sunday party is a must . The staff are excellent . Very freindly and helpful . Couldn't fault the place .
My wife and I celebrated our 30th anniversary on this. trip. It was a long trip. We stayed in 6 hotels over 26 days. By far this hotel was the most disappointing. The rooms need updating badly. YOU CAN HEAR EVERTHING. Every time someone left their room you could hear the door slam. When we first got there the room was awful. The son in law was a very accommodating guy. Helpful. If he hadn't stepped up this would be awful instead of disappointed. He upgraded us to a nicer room. Its funny. The upgraded room had the band below us(live music daily) that didn't bother us. It was the doors from other people's hotel room that was noisy. The staff, for the most part was very good/helpful. The view was killer. The food ok. Dirk/all the bartenders were great. The son in law was good also.
A lovely hotel with an amazing setting, right on the seafront. Staff helpful, good atmosphere and clean, comfortable rooms. Only downside were the noisy lads in the room next door who were making a racket at about 5 in the morning, waking us up. Overall it was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.
Only had a couple of days as we'd tagged them on after 5 hectic days in Granada
Fabulous hotel with one of the Best restaurants on the coast. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for I believe. Will defiantly be back.
Problem if you are gluten-free, but beautiful setting
The prices for meals are high, although the food is very good quality - but they seemed to have problems understanding 'sin gluten', as I am coeliac. I got a goats cheese salad twice on a pastry case despite going on and on about it trying to make them understand. For the continental breakfast, I could have only fruit and yogurt- there was never any gluten-free bread, or muffins or pastry. So I paid 8.50 Euros plus 8% IVA for not much at all! I do wish they included the IVA in the prices they quoted - it's like forgetting the VAT. So the 111 Euros IVA added at the end came as a bit of a shock. Your cocktail isn't 8 Euros, it's almost 9 with IVA.
Apart from that, we managed to get changed to a sea view room which was spectacular - although air con didn't work properly. It was 30 degrees in October! Couldn't seem to get cool, even at night.
Pool was lovely, as was the pool bar, but only 3 seats around it in the water - there was space for at least 12!
Tiny gripe from a female about most hotels - why are the hangers only suitable for mens clothes? There are never any hangers, to hang a dress or skirt or even trousers with side ribbons - they just slide off!!
Not having been to Costa Del Sol, we were a little confused on how to drive to the hotel. It is a long way from the Malaga Airport. After calling and receiving directions from the hotel, we made it without much difficulty. They upgraded our room to an ocean view. Small room, but adequate. The food and dining service was great. The infinity pool overlooks the ocean. The inside pool is beautiful and warm. We wish we had taken advantage of the spa offerings. Parking is free, another advantage over most hotels. I think the best time to go to any hotel in this region is during the off season. We stayed the middle of October and would definitely stay again.
