Amazing Villa

Beautiful home, spacious and incredible views. Location was a pleasant surprise. Bars and restaurants just a 5 min walk. Beach bars located closely as well. Plus a 5 min taxi takes you to a more lively area. Really recommend this Villa. Has everything you need for a great holiday.

Place with perfect location to accomodate 12 people

Villa was perfect for our big 12 person group and fullfilled all the needs we had. Location was superb for golfing because many of the courses were max 15 min away from the villa. Big thanks also to Wilrik (person who rents the villa) who was very helpfull from the day we made the booking to the end of our trip 🙏. Pekka

Just a few words to let you know that we had the most enjoyable stay at your villa. After a 24 hour journey, coming from Cape Town, South Africa, the villa was a real homecoming. We did enjoy every moment of our stay. Our party of 9 were received with a warm welcome from the start. Villa Monte cannot fail to impress. It is in real life more impressive than the picture shown. There is plenty of room for all not to impose on each other. The lift was a great help for both carrying passengers and for transporting shopping to the ground villa level. The views from the villa were spectacular as was the Costa itself. A great week had by all in our party.

Magnificent views from the villa

We (two families) had a very nice holiday in Villa Monte 22.-29.10.2010. The Villa was all we expected and the weather was sunny. Neighborhood was peaceful and the views from the Villa were magnificent. Everything in the villa was in good order. The kitchen had all you need and little more, bedrooms/beds were good and the livingrooms were comfortable. The swimmingpool and patio area were very nice and we spent lot of time there. There were minisupermarket and restaurants nearby the Villa. We could honestly recommend Villa Monte for families! Vesku

Perfect birthday celebration

What a gem of a villa, we were 14 family members all travelling for a "big" birthday celebration. Everyone from an 83 year old down to an 8 year old. The villa was perfect. The pool was amazing and everyone enjoyed it. The outside space was plenty, various seating areas, so no one felt cramped and even some areas for quite time. The kitchen had plenty of utensils, cutlery and I have never seen so many dinner plates for use. We were there for 5 nights and bar one night we stayed in the villa to make the most of it, all the family members loved it. Wilrik as a Host was fabulous and great communications with emails and whatsapps throughout our 5 days, he checked in with us. Great villa, great spot, great host. Amanda

50th Trip

We had a fantastic stay at the villa for two of our groups 50th birthday celebrations. We had paid for pool heating and was so worth it the temperature in the mornings was so warm ! There were 7 ladies with 2 sharing, we did not realise the mater had a sharing bathroom but it worked well fo us, the villa is vast and we had so much space for us all. The amenities are great I might suggest a cupboard with extra toilet roll and a cleaning cloth to wipe down surfaces, but we happily bought both. The pool area is impressive and we had fun times in an around the pool, we were lucky that some inflatables were left for us which was great. The villa could accommodate more than the 7 singles we had comfortably and I would love to go back with my family. Wilrik is the perfect host and was always available for contact, as was Marissa we had a great time and you would not go wrong booking this amazing villa. P.s there is a local supermarket 10 mins walk with other restaurants and a lovely small coffee shop/breakfast lunch venue, they make amazing cocktails, please be lovey to the gorgeous black cat that is sleeping in the seating area just outside the lounge . This is a large home in a great location

9 of us stayed at this property for 2 weeks in July 2024, ages 9, 14 and 20-65. Wilrik is a very pleasant and helpful host and always made himself available timely, from booking through post stay. Marissa was on site support and quick to respond when contact once we arrived. We used GoogleTranslate to text her in Spanish. The location was great. We could walk to the beach and it was easy to get to groceries/pharmacies. There are a multitude of restaurants nearby. It was easy to get to Seville, Granada, Ronda (very windy roads), El Caminito del Rey and back in a day and still enjoy the house. The pool was really nice. Sun in the morning and shade in the late afternoon. We had a really nice view of the sea and of mountains from the pool and patio. The main area was large and bright. The 2 upper sleeping rooms had wonderful sea views, a master and another sleeping room. The sleeping room is a passthrough to get to the master and the master bath can be shared. On the main floor, there are two sleeping rooms and three bathroom areas. In the apartment there are two sleeping rooms and a shared bathroom and a bit less natural light. The elevator is so wonderful to use for getting groceries, cooler and daytrip items and luggage up and down. The property is relaxing with beautiful summer flowering bushes and trees around the pool and patio. Wilrik provides plenty of information about what is in the area and information about the rental house.

Magnificent Villa!

We were a family of 7 adults and we all lived there for two weeks quite comfortably. The villa is well maintained, has everything you need and more and is well situated to go anywhere in Spain or even Morocco. The train station is in Malaga and can take you everywhere in speedy trains. A car however is necessary to go to the markets and visit other sites non accessible by train. There is however a bus service which is very good also leaving from Fuengirola or Benalmadena. Beaches are near by. The one you can walk to is not that great but a few minutes walk or drive can take you to wonderful beaches. The house is situated up on a hill and has wonderful views. The area around the house is just beautiful and safe to walk at night. There is a pub/restaurant down the hill which is very British in meals and language, the owners/waiter hardly spoke Spanish. The food is good if you are tired of cooking. We did most of the meals at home and was great to eat fresh every day. We would have liked to have a gas BBQ but we accommodated ourselves by using the range in the kitchen to do some grilling. The kitchen is well equipped and seemed fairly new. Make sure you do not leave any sweet bit of food on the counter and that you clean it well before going to bed or you will wake up to an ant invasion. The bedrooms and beds were quite comfortable and there was air conditioning throughout the house, not that you needed it. The living dining area is quite large, well decorated, quite comfortable and is just like the photos provided on this site. There is a small pavi There are several flights of stairs to the main house but there is a small elevator that can take you to it as well. We used the stairs most of the time but it is great to have the option for an elderly person who can not go up that many stairs. We used it for bringing the grocery bags up. Sitting on the terrace was the most pleasant part of our stay, the weather during those two weeks was just perfect and we ate outside and we relaxed all evening near the pool and looking at the bougainvilliers and breath taking views. When we arrived from the airport we missed the entrance to the area where the house is situated and we got lost. The entrance is almost as soon as you pass El Faro. However Wilrik, the owner had provided us with the phone number of his caretaker who was so kind to come and get us. We followed him home. It was nice to know that he was close by and a phone call away if we needed help.

Villa Monte 5 star experience!

Villa Monte - the owner Wilrik was a pleasure to deal with from booking to leaving. We were a family of 8 adults and 5 children. The villa layout and accommodation was perfect for us- great bedrooms with good bathroom/ shower facilities and excellent kitchen/lounge and dining area. Beautiful sea views, fantastic pool, spacious covered terrace and patio area to enjoy having fun! A 5 star experience for our whole family!

From the day we arrived to the day we left the villa and host was brilliant. Wilrik looked after us so good. The villa was so clean and the views were superb. Heated pool was amazing. A fantastic experience!

Me and my family, seven grown ups and one baby, went here to the Villa owned by Wilrik in our honeymoon trip. A fantastic villa, clean, beautiful, spacious with all the facilities you need and with a really nice swimmingpool. It is situated really well, quiet and nice, with polite people around you. We do reccomend this destination for anyone who is looking for a nice and calm vacation. And we will definitely return here!

Stunning villa for large groups.

A group of 10 of us attended the villa for a long weekend toward the end of September. Wilrik wasn’t available to meet us but his colleague, Francisco, stepped in to welcome us and show us around. We were all delighted with the property and after stocking up on food and drink from the shopping centre, a short taxi ride away, we were quickly settled and took advantage of the fantastic pool and ample sunbeds. We had a couple of trips to Fuengirola by taxi and a walk down to the beach bars and restaurants at La Cala de Mijas. The walk is pleasant until you reach the main road which is a dual carriage way that you need to walk along. The beach is great though so it is worthwhile, although after a few drinks in the beach bars we did get a taxi back. The Frog & Co restaurant a few doors down from the villa had good food and was a nice option if we didn’t want to travel any further. The villa itself was a site to behold, dominating the road and offering good views out to sea. With ample room we never felt on top of each other although we did spend the majority of time around the pool which is a great size and depth, and heated should you need it, we didn’t as the weather was fantastic. Wilrik was there to see us off and ensure we’d had a good trip, very friendly and a nice touch. A 5 star and strongly recommended villa that I’m sure we will struggle to match next year, so we might well be back!

Great pool area and close to everything

We came to the villa with a group of friends (10 people). The villa was even better than we expected and we fell in love with the villas pool area. The villa was beautifully decorated and there was plenty of space for 10 people. The kitchen had all the neccessary equipment, although I would bring a knife sharpener with me. We didn't always have to cook ourselves or leave the villa to eat, because it was possible to order pizza to the villa. There was a small restaurant near the villa (Frog and Co.) which had amazing food and excellent service. A large group should notify advance if they are coming to eat. Otherwise it was better to go somewhere further to eat. The villa located nicely near Fuengirola and the center of La Cala de Mijas. We traveled by taxi, because it was relatively cheap. We bought our groceries from a large shopping center Miramar which had great shopping opportunities as well. The beach was very near, although we liked our villas pool more. Wilrik was always available and he replied fast and kindly. In addition, getting and leaving the keys in Spain went smoothly! We really recommend this villa! It's hard to find a better one!

Exceptional experience!

Thank you for making this whole stay so smooth and pleasant! From the first contact to the actual stay in Villa it was an exceptional experience. Our family (12 people) had a wonderful week - with the perfect view in a beautiful house and (in late March maybe one of the most important things) a perfectly heated pool. We enjoyed our time a lot and would love to come back again!

Fab property, very spacious and clean, owner and colleagues very helpful. Would highly recommend

The property is a great size we had 3 families of 4 and we're really happy with everything. The kids loved the pool and it was a good size. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. We didn't hire a car as were there for a week and just got a taxi to the larger supermarket to stock up on food. Taxis offered a great service and would pick up in minutes. There is a supermarket and a few bars in walking distance and feungirola is just a short taxi ride away with a great beach and shops and restaurants. The owner and his colleague Geraldine made us very welcome and wanted to ensure we enjoyed our stay, which we most certainly did

Best Villa in Marbella!

We had a very nice stay at the Villa Monte ... the arrival from the airport was not so far and the villa is idyllic with a fantastic view to the mountains and the sea ... the distance to the beach is in 10 minutes walk very good To cope ... also the connections are good and shopping possibilities and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity ... we were 12 persons and had a great room division, with the large number of baths we got along well ... the stay possibilities are very good ... we could all sit together together and relax - on the terrace and also in the living room ... the food in the large group was not a problem, it has many seating areas whether in the house or outside, also the grille corner Invites you to a cozy evening ... the kitchen is very large and has all the necessary appliances and utensils ... all bedrooms are very spacious and nicely furnished, The beds comfortable ... the outside area with the large pool, which was heated up to a very pleasant temperature, is pure luxury ... also the sufficiently furnished couches, invite to relax ... the view is unique and with its Lovely design and planting just fantastic ... we had a great week in a very nice ambience and can recommend it to everyone ... the landlord was very open and friendly and always around our well endeavor ... we will definitely the Villa to rent again ...

A Very Happy Christmas

Our family are spread throughout main land Europe and the UK and met up at the 'Palace' for Christmas. The property was exactly as described and spotlessly clean. A welcome pack of essentials (includindg wine!) was very much appreciated. Wilrik ,the owner, was available, friendly and very helpful from our initial enquiry all the way through to departure. The equipment and furniture are all of excellent quality and the heated pool was a real luxury. I can fully recommend this super property.

Wonderful Villa Monte!

A great house with room for a big community and large enough for everyone to "be themselves". Beautiful view and in a nice area with walking distance to the water and interesting tourist attractions. We all thought that the standard was very very high. Also meet and greet was a pleasure and a warm and informing welcome to the Villa Monte. We hope to be back in Villa Monte some day!
