The house features living room, bath, and kitchen with huge rock fireplace. On the lake side is multilevel porch with propane grill overlooking a pier for easy docking. Holly Park Marina is 5 miles away. Upstairs TV room with a day bed. 2 bedrooms (one with a double and a queen bed, and second with a king and a double) and full bath. House can sleep 9 adults comfortably. All beds are up stairs. No smoking.

Nice that the home was pet-friendly. This was very helpful with us being able to bring our pup. Home was clean, however the bar needed wiping down when we got there. Bedrooms were nice and clean. Beds were great and comfortable. Both bathrooms were clean and very nice. My boys used the hot tub they said it was nice. Had a little more chlorine than they liked so they didn’t turn the jets on. Things to know since there aren’t a lot of pictures on the listing. No windows downstairs of the area that you occupy. Only natural light that comes in is from the front and back storm doors. One thing we didn’t realize when we booked, so that was on us. If you like windows keep this in mind. TV room has a lot of DVDs to pick from and a big TV for evening watching if you like that. Living room is kind of tight for 4 people but we stayed on the back porch 90% of the time which was nice! BBQ gas grill works, could be updated. Can tell it’s been used on the inside in the last two years since it’s been updated. Kitchen has most items you need to fix a meal. The cast iron skillets were nice to use as well! Dock is good and with the lake at current t level in April 2026 we were able to pull up to land just fine.

Cozy cabin, nice and clean. Not a lot of amenities in the surrounding area and the long dirt road that the cabin sits on is undesirable…don’t recommend if you’re trailering a boat.

Everything we needed for a quiet and relaxing getaway to Toledo bend. The hot tub, view from the dock, and the fire pit were standouts among the amenities. If you need a chance to get away from everything hustle and bustle and ground yourself in perfect seclusion, this is the spot!

The cleanliness of the cabin was excellent. The hot tub seems to be the teen boys hang out. They loved spending time outdoors. From the fishing to the family time was all a true Blessing. The kitchen had a good bit of things to prepare food. However, could use more pots. The cast iron skillets were very nice.

Loved the old world charm mixed with a bit of mid-century 1900’s and a few modern appliances. Amazing architecture!You should be sure to bring your own coffee cups, if you drink coffee. Also, the only sleeping options are up the stairs, so if stairs are a problem, this wouldn’t be a good idea. You should also know there are plenary of nice neighbors, so it’s not secluded. But if you go during the week it’s a great place for a quiet getaway.Now, the hot tub was wonderful! The view off the back porch is lovely. We took our kayaks and launched for the property. The dock is a great place for napping, or star watching at night. The architecture of the house itself is astounding! And lots of the decor inside is museum worthy.I took lots of pics, but this will only allow for 8, so I’ll try to choose wisely.

It was a fun time, the cabin was nice. Unfortunately one of our kayaks was stolen right off the beach. Very disappointing. Watch out for theives.

It’s an ok house with a gorgeous view. The house is definitely rustic and smells moldy. I recently had a fall while running that lead to an infected wound and surgery. The trip was already planned so I decided to recover here. All rooms are upstairs so having to climb stairs several times a day with a healing wound was daunting. The kids and our dogs spent most of the time outside so to our surprise they added a 50 extra cleaning charge. Said our female dogs marked in several spots and they had pics to prove it. Almost a little hostile. So… it is a neat cabin but owners.

Nice place. Just don’t like you can’t use the boat ramp 200 yards away. They don’t let renters launch. You have to go to a park to launch. Makes it tough if the weather is not right……as it was during our stay.

Very Relaxing!

Cabin was very homey. Beds were very comfortable and the upstairs shower was amazing! We did some fishing and caught a small catfish and a turtle. The hot tub had a bit too much chlorine but we still used it and showered immediately afterward. If you have pets, beware that there are fleas in the yard and there was rat poison under furniture. A small dog or even a child could easily access it. I left a note for the owner and hopefully they will remedy this. Otherwise, this is a great place to relax and you won't be disappointed.

Quiet, relaxing cabin

Very unique and interesting listing. A lot of thought went into the cabin and we loved the quiet location. There were a lot of antiques and interesting things to see in this cabin. We only had a 2 night stay due to it being already booked beyond that. Had a great birthday stay, and this very busy nurse enjoyed the peace and quiet also!
