For starters, everyone should be informed that this place isnât close to downtown Milan, Duomo, or any touristy sights. Our first impression as we arrived and opened the door, we were welcomed with an unpleasant odor most similarly to baby poo. Then we tried to take a shower and the drain was clogged with hairs so there was a flood, preventing my family and I to shower. To make it even worse, the towels are super thin and small, not enough to even cover my children. Then, the mattress was hard as wood and blankets had a strange scent to them, as if they werenât previously cleaned. As we were trying to make the best out of it, we started looking for dinner nearby and on the way out of the building my kids walked on the grass. There were no signs in English or Italian indicating they werenât allowed to trespass, in which we were approached by a lady who was extremely rude and disrespectful. She needs to learn manners and how to appropriately approach speaking to tenants as we were passive and didnât think it wouldâve been an issue. The aggressive behavior received from her was unnecessary and scared my wife and kids as we felt harassed by her. The next morning, at 7 AM we were awakened by obnoxiously loud landscaping and we all felt ill, most likely due to the humidity causing mold in the room. We decided there was no way we could take another day in this nightmare of a place. Although the owner was responsive, they denied a refund or credit for the two additional days left.
All very clean with good communication from managers. Some nice places in the neighbourhood to eat and handy to a shopping centre and metro station. Is out of the central area though but if you donât mind that then all good
Although the apartment was a bit old, we had a lovely and safe stay. Location is superb - close to buses and a great little shopping center with a huge supermarket.
Host was very responsive and the check in and check out was seamless.
The breakfast coupons were an awesome treat, too!
Hair dryer in bathroom needs an upgrade but beyond that, I would recommend!
Had a power outage, but property manager was quick to respond and fix. We were close to a neighborhood shopping mall that had a very large grocery store with everything you need. We found a great restaurant nearby:le vent du nord and pepe Nero ! The apt was fully stocked with everything! The custodian agreed to keep our bags after we checked out while we killed some time waiting for our train ride to the airport!!
We stayed at the Collette apartment in late May as part of a tour of Europe we had been waiting to but got delayed due to Covid. The apartment was clean and in a quiet residential neighbourhood and only 5 minute walk to the Coop grocery store. The metro is not far either. We would use the apartment again if we are back in Milan.
