My overnight stay was comfortable with very good service from bar and restaurant staff. The room was nice but it is a shame when the shower has no power and it takes three times longer than it should.
Really nice stay… comfy bed and clean, seemed a bit quiet but that’s down to January I presume. Good was really lovely although server in the bar area.. this did not really make a difference. Staff were really friendly… so thankyou all for a nice stay.
Reception area was okay, but beyond that it was back to the 1990s for the rest of the hotel.
Room was cold, smelt damp and had possibly the most uncomfortable bed I have slept in. Decor was dated, bathroom was grubby and dated and the shower was barely a trickle.
Enjoyed our one night stay here. There is plenty of easy car parking. We were made to feel welcome on arrival. Hotel had all you would expect including kettle, cups, tea, coffee etc in the room. Bedding was lovely, but the beds were noisy every time you moved! (Bit weird and not something I have experienced before). Nevertheless still had a good nights sleep. Bathroom was clean, with
provision of lovely big towels and free travel size toiletries. We ate in the bar area and there were plenty of choice. All staff were friendly, efficient and polite. Would stay again.

Beds really noisy when you turned over! We woke each other frequently.
Breakfast was shambolic - never more than one staff member, dirty tables, empty food areas, no cutlery or mugs.. Very disappointing.
Bar staff were keen but the bar was massively understaffed and queues were frequent and long.
