At time of check-in Friday evening, the on duty desk clerk could not understand that I wished to pay for my stay in cash. He insisted on me swiping my credit card at the time, to which he subsequently charged my room. Then, he demanded a $150.00 security deposit for any possible damages that I might do to the room. Upon checkout Sunday morning, I asked the on duty desk clerk to apply an additional $50 dollars to the security deposit for the room payment and to reverse the charges made to my credit card Friday evening. He seemed unwilling to process my transaction willingly and after a short back and forth discussion, he sent one of the housekeepers to check my room for damages. When she returned and reported no damages, he then processed my security deposit and returned it to me. I then immediately gave it back to him, plus $50 dollars, to pay for my stay. And I had to ask him again to remove the room charges from my credit card. After some hesitation, he did remove the room charges from my credit card. I was very unhappy with the management of this Quality Inn and do not plan on staying at this location again. My overall impression of Quality Inns at present is not very good.

Overall, it is an okay stay. They have some nice additions such as the pool, mini-arcade, mini-cocktail like bar, hot tub, and workout space. Staff was friendly and helpful when needed. The breakfast could have some adjustments such as variety, but there's enough that it will take the edge off. The room itself was spacious, had a mini-fridge and microwave. One of the TV's in the room didn't work and it was hard to find any local information or just information for the hotel in the room. The price is reasonable and will get the job done for a brief visit.

The breakfast was standard but both the scrambled eggs & sausage was bland & watery. Also, no OJ available. The room itself was good. The hot tub seemed a bit dirty.

Staff was super friendly. Room was large and comfortable. Overall it was pretty clean for an older building. They offer a small bar off of the lobby and a pool/ hot tub. If your looking for an inexpensive hotel close to hospital medical center it is a great choice.

If you are looking for something cheap this is a great option. But if you want to use the pool I would suggest looking at a different hotel. Both the pool and hot tub were filthy.
