We offer a beautiful 3-bedroom vacation rental home in Paradise Retreat, backyard Oasis with the largest salt-water swimming pool with heat during cold weather as on option ($350.00 Plus Tax) equipped with built in tanning ledge in the neighborhood, perfect for families and groups ready to enjoy the sun and sand of Florida beaches. Our beach house rental is available for weekly and short-term rentals, and we offer affordable rates year-round.

****NEW ADDITION: We have added a new option for you to rent a luxury GOLF CART to make your stay here at the Sandcastle more convenient and to provide a fun way to travel, to and from the beach! The master bedroom is private and features its own large bath, a walk-in closet, beautifully furnished, New King-size Mattress and bedding, flat screen TV.

Our beach house rental is located in sunny Miramar Beach, within minutes from Destin, Florida. It is perfect for couples, families, and/or friends ready to enjoy a fun and relaxing summer vacation!! It's only a short stroll from our property to enjoy the emerald waters and sugar-sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. For your convenience, The Sand Castle has beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and beach toys.

WE KNOW YOUR PET IS A MEMBER OF THE FAMILY JUST LIKE OUR PETS ARE, SO The Sandcastle Cottage is 'PET FRIENDLY' ! Bring your pet with you so that he/she too can have a wonderful vacation with his family for well behaved pets. Must be on leash when out side of home. Guest to pick up litter w/furnished litter scoop. 2 pets max 25 LB MAX.

After a fun-filled day at the beach, you may want to grab a bite to eat at a seafood restaurant right on the gulf. Captain Dave's offers great seafood, with a dining room overlooking the ocean. For a cajun twist to your meal, Kenny D's, right across the street from Captain Dave's, has a lovely array of Louisiana seafood to choose from. Two other wonderful oceanfront seafood restaurants, The Crab Trap and Pompano Joe's, are only a short drive down the beach to the west and east.

Our vacation rental is conveniently located within minutes of the numerous amenities that Destin has to offer—shopping at the largest designer outlet mall in the USA, world famous deep-sea fishing, dolphin watching cruises, and romantic evening ocean cruises. Destin also offers entertainment and amusements for the whole family, such as water parks, parasailing, snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, and much more! In addition, the Destin area is home to a dozen fine golf courses, a zoo, museums, and several state parks with walking courses and biking trails. So come kick off your shoes, soak up some sun (or relax in the shade), splash in the Gulf, and enjoy life.

By far one of the cleanest VRBO properties we've ever stayed at. The house was spotless! We had a great stay and would definitely come back given the opportunity. The only downside was that the pool heater was not able to keep up with the cooler temperatures during our stay, so the pool was far colder than the set-point temperature. However, that is not a fault of the property owner. It was a great stay for a small family!

Loved the pool and outside furniture! House was clean but needs updating. The hostess was very quick to rectify a couple situations- issue with front door lock and toaster. All were fixed very quickly. Parking was an issue; we had two vehicles and a golf cart that we rented extra. We could not park in garage, could not block sidewalk or park in street; therefore, we had to move a vehicle back and forth each time we wanted to use the golf cart. There were excessive “rules” that had costly penalties if violated- ex. had to move trash cans back to side of house after garbage pickup or would be fined. There were several add on costs if chosen- golf cart rental not included in price, heated pool cost extra plus tax and early checkin cost extra. Loved the neighborhood and beach access except the gate code provided did not work.

Everything you could need or ask for!

This home is convenient to shopping, restaurants, and very important, the beach. This house has the nicest pool in the gated community that we seen. Definitely recommend renting the golf cart to drive to the beach and some local shops and restaurants on old 98! Very quiet neighborhood and would recommend for families. Loved that it was no smoking!!! Very clean and equipped with everything you’d need! Rosemary is the best at communicating, too! Very easy process for reservation and payment and even afterward follow-up. Highly recommend!

Perfect Getaway

We scheduled a very last minute getaway with the kids as soon as school ended. We scheduled Friday evening and were checked in Saturday evening. Rosemary was fantastic as a host and answered all of our questions very quickly. The location is perfect for what we wanted. A quiet gated community with a short golf cart ride to the beach and a private pool that was very big. We could not be more happy with our stay.

House in a great location for the beach, restaurant's and shopping,plus added bonus of the large private pool. Also we used the golf cart for traveling to the beach,restaurants and the stores that is only a couple of minutes from the property. This location comes highly recommended

We loved walking out the back door to get in your own private pool every day. It was close to the beach. The neighborhood is very nice and clean. This place we stayed at is nice. Stay at Sandcastle

This was my first time using VRBO and first time renting a house instead of a condo. I had a good experience with both and the process was easy. Rosemary was great staying in communication with me and quick to respond to questions and needs. We had a great stay, felt at home. When we couldn’t go to the beach we enjoyed swimming in the private pool. We were close to the beach and having the privacy and complimentary umbrella and chairs was so nice to just sit back and relax. We will definitely do it again and recommend to anyone looking for a vacation home rental.

Great location and Per Friendly

We'd give this place an 4.5 as a whole. Our stay was great. We needed a place near the beach that would allow our 50 pound doodle stay with us. Only suggestions we have are some of the little things, knives and scissors were dull and difficult to use. Also, the grill might need an upgrade. The front burners flew flames which made for an interesting moment. Overall, we would definitely recommend it to a person with a fur friend .

A great place to stay by the beach.

Everything was great. The house was real nice and only a few blocks from the beach. The complimentary beach chairs and umbrella was great. The pool in the back yard was very nice. I recommend staying here.

Our Destin Getaway

I will start by saying Rosemary was an absolute pleasure to work with. She answered any and every question I had very quickly. The house was exactly as described and was very clean! The pool...WOW!! It was absolutely perfect! It did get a little warm but it was to be expected with the heat of the week we were there and I made sure to let Rosemary know for the next guests if it could be adjusted. We did rent the golf cart but only used it to go to the beach. There is not anything nearby like souvenir shops, or gas stations, so I don't know if it was really worth it, but it did make the ride to the beach easier, though you still had to park it across the street, and then enter the beach access that way. We struggled with the codes for the beach access and the gate to enter the neighborhood, but again, Rosemary resolved that very quickly. I have stayed in numerous houses in Destin and I have never had one give you such a wonderful startup supply as she did. The master bed was so comfortable and all the linens you would ever need were provided. Do not let other reviews discourage you from renting this home. It was truly wonderful! There are lots of reminder notes everywhere but if you take care of the property, that shouldn't bother you. The price was great and it accomodated our family well. Great place to stay!

This is our second year staying here. The house was even cleaner than our last stay. Pool is a great size and the residence is a convenient location to the beach and surrounding activities/restaurants. Golf cart is great and highly recommended for trips to beach, etc. Will definitely stay again!

Beautiful Pool Oasis

This property was perfect for my family of 7 with our 2 fur babies! The beach is a stroll or golf cart ride away but the private pool and patio was our own private oasis! We would definitely rent again!
