In room menu but was told they don’t deliver to room. 30 minutes later 2 guys knocked on the door asking if I wanted room service. Very weak WiFi. Power outages. Nice people but not clean or comfortable.

Great hotel in Mirissa which was very close to the beach (you do have to walk there or take a <5 minute tuktuk ride). The pool was beautiful and clean. Good breakfast in the morning. Would stay there again!

Budget place near Mirissa beach

It is a basic and budget place. The property is new. Most of the customers are young couples. Service is slow. The pool is good size and clean. Mirissa beach is two minutes walk. The owner is a nice bloke. Makes you feel comfortable. Breakfast is simple but tasty.

Amazing hotel very close to the beach

Great location (minutes walk from the beach!) And overall great set up. Very comfy room with a good bed and aircon. We slept so well. Also very nice shower! You can order breakfast from a menu, available from 8am. The breakfast service seemed a bit confused and took some time but was delicious once we got it. One morning we had to get up early for whale watching and then they prepared a packed breakfast! It was delicious and so very helpful! Great service and 24 hour reception. They have beach towels you can borrow at reception too. I really recommend Wavelength.

Vi stannade bara en natt. Åkte tidigt pĂ„ morgonen. Killen som tog emot oss kom knappt och mötte oss. NĂ€r vi kom in i rummet var det fullt av nummer 2 i toan. Inte stĂ€dat. SĂ„ vi fick sitta och vĂ€nta pĂ„ att dom skulle fixa . ÄndĂ„ kom vi sent pĂ„ kvĂ€llen. Sen var det döda spindlar i myggnĂ€tet runt sĂ€ngen. Annars ok för en natt. Nice and warm place.

Nice clean place close to the beach and lots of restaurants. Lovely owners. One of them, completely on her own initiative, even went to make my Dad some ayurvedic tea when she saw he had the flu.

Good value

Very clean rooms, even under the bed and behind the desk.. Good breakfast served right to your own balcony or terrace.. Nice family running the hotel. Always hot water and during our stay I guess they improved the wifi as it started to work out perfectly for the last days. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants.

Really nice staff, the lady running the place even made my Dad an Ayurvedic remedy tea when she noticed him looking sick. Less than 5 min walk from the beach. Rooms clean. Nice bed. First review I’ve ever written so that should say something ...

The place is very good, clean and comfortable. In a quiet area and very close to the beach, supermarket, restaurants and shops. Breakfasts are very nice, specially all the fruits they give you. We loved being able to eat a variety of fruits all mornings, and delivered to your lovely terrace/room! Everyone that works there is super friendly and willing to help and make you feel at home.

Close to the beach, the harbour and supermarket.

We stayed for 2 nights. Walking distance to get to the harbour if you are planning to do the whale watching. There are a lot of good restaurants along the beach and you can walk from the hotel. The staff offered a good price to hire a driver to drive us to Ella.

Clean and comfortable

Rooms were clean and comfortable. The wifi was good, showers were hot and there was a fridge and kettle. It is a short walk to the beach, harbor for whale watching and the supermarket and bus stop on the main road. There were several thoughtful touches, such as an outside tap for sandy feet and a clothes rack on the balcony for wet swimming kit.

Standard hotel close to Mirissa Beach

If you are just looking for a hotel with air conditioning that is close to Mirissa beach, this fits the bill. The room is a basic hotel room, with a mini fridge, air conditioning and mosquito net, although the net we had was questionable as there were holes at the top corners of the net. The bathroom was clean however it was full of flies all the time and there was a strange smell from the sink. Our sleep was disrupted both nights that we stayed here due to the neighbours next door throwing fireworks onto their tin roof - not a problem with the hotel but the thin walls meant that the bangs were disruptive and slightly alarming.

Nice family run hotel on a wonderful beach!

Good location away from the beach and the wknd night bar noise but within easy 5 min walk to the beach! Lovely family run hotel. They helped us book a car to drive us to Tissa. Hot water and a good water pressure in the shower! A rarity in Sri Lanka. WiFi was weak but managable. Great fresh seafood dinners all along the beach where you pick your own fish or shellfish!! We also went back twice to the Mirrrisa Eye for their curries and deviled chicken dinners. No real laundry facilities in town that we could find & ended up doing ours in the sink and used the drying rack provided. Would recommend both hotel and the many restaurants along the beach.

Prima hotel met zeer behulpzaam personeel. Het hotel ligt maar enkele minuten van het mooie en gezellige strand van Mirissa, maar het is er 's nachts heerlijk rustig. De kamers hebben naar keuze een groot 2persoonsbed of twinbeds en zijn voor de rest compleet ingericht met een koelkastje en de mogelijkheid om koffie of thee te zetten.Voor het ontbijt zul je naar een van de restaurants aan het strand moeten lopen. Dit hotel durven wij iedereen aan te raden!

Trevlig vistelse

Vi hade bokat fyra nÀtter men bestÀmde oss att stanna kvar fyra nÀtter lÀngre. Ett nytt boende, rent och bekvÀmt, nÀra till stranden (5 minuter) samtidigt som man inte blev störd av livet pÄ restaurangerna. Det som fick oss att stanna lÀngre hÀr var framförallt de trevliga Àgarna och personalen. De Àr verkligen hjÀlpsamma och omtÀnksamma. Min man trampade pÄ en sjöborr och vi fick massorm med hjÀlp och stöd. PÄ det hÀr stÀllet kÀnde vi verksilgen oss som hemma och blev omhÀndertagna. Vi kommer att ÄtervÀnda hit om nÄgra Är.

Great stay

Wonderful stay here at the Wavelength, everything is as you read about comfy beds, tea and coffee, great shower and quiet area but less than 5 minutes to the beach. Owner is also very helpful.

Nice modern room a short walk to the beach

Modern comfortable rooms with air con at affordable price. Owners are friendly and helpful.beach and restaurants only a 5min walk away. Good location also for whale watching trips. No breakfast option but easy to find something in the surrounding area.
