The hotel is very small and honestly underwhelming. they make it really hard to get a reservation for anything such as dinning at the sushi restaurant and amenities. Also note when booking if you book an “ocean view” its more of a corner view their booking is very misleading. The hotel gives glamping vibes so if you are not a fan of mainly being out in extreme heat & humidity then this is not for you due to the restroom, shower and restaurants all being outside

Clean rooms, staff was very nice and helpful. Cool attached beach club but be warned the weekend party gets wild and loud. The breakfast is good. The dinner was ok but it took a very long time to get our food, ~45 minutes one night. Other night it wasn't as long.

I had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful beach hotel. The location is absolutely perfect just steps away from the ocean with breathtaking views day and night. The sound of the waves and the fresh sea breeze made the experience incredibly relaxing. The staff was warm, attentive, and professional, always making sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were spotless, modern, and very comfortable, with a stunning view of the beach. The pool area and the private beach were clean and well maintained, and the atmosphere was peaceful and luxurious.

Everything was fantastic. The staff stood out the most. They were so kind. We also had sushi and that was out of this world. It was special since it was our first trip to El Salvador, my birth country, and my first time meeting my Salvadoran family. I was adopted as a baby during the civil war. The only thing I would highly suggest (and maybe I'm saying this because I am a musician myself), is to keep the music in Spanish or Salvadoran-based. People crave authenticity and it adds a nice personal touch to hear the music in Spanish and even staff speak Spanish or a mix of Spanish and English. I am slowly learning Spanish, but I was so grateful to hear staff speak both Spanish and English with me. Also the shuttle that drove us to the airport played very American rock, and that was not music we wanted to hear on our last day. It didn't ruin it for us, but it would have been nice to hear Spanish music or local music on the radio. Again, I'm just being picky because I'm a musician. Otherwise, everything was absoluately perfect. Thank you for an amazing experience!!!! We will recommend Mizata to everyone we know and then some! Love you Mizata and the community that surrounds you!

Much better than expected. Food was exceptionally organically and pesticides free, healthy, At restaurant, Erica, was so friendly , exceptional service, Food-a wide rage of healthy options . We missed the window to book a cabin beach view, books up fast missed it by a day, fully booked . I wanted to go so, we booked last room available a suite, which accommodates 6 persons , large storage lockers , mini fridge, large bathroom, the shower was low water pressure , shampoo and conditioner was natural ingredients, if you are about health.No need to pack shampoo and conditioner or blow dry . The view everyday was heavenly especially sunsets and bonfires. The sand has lava-ash and quarts, healing and detoxing if you are into that sort of thing. The service and staff are all exceptional. Also , we did IV treatment and oxygen chamber, on premises Dr. Sofia Baires can also do online consult before you arrive and book when you arrive. This made a big difference on my health after a long week of sightseeing, trekking climbing a perfect way to end the week and relax, recommend no less than a 3 night stay.A 10 Star place for a county that is just starting to develop their country and tourism in Nov. 2025. Please tip well, wages are extremely low. a definite must stay.

This property is absolutely stunning. While the prices are more in line with international resort rates than typical El Salvador accommodations, the experience completely justifies the cost. Beyond the pristine beach, they offer an impressive array of activities for guests seeking adventure or variety. Whether you want to relax by the ocean or explore everything the resort has to offer, this place delivers. Highly recommend!

The entire Mizata experience was extraordinary. The restaurant and pool location have the most incredible views. The grounds, common areas, and room were very clean. The vibe is excellent with the people who work there being extremely kind and helpful. They definitely go out the way to tend to you and make you feel comfortable. The food at the restaurant was really good especially the ceviches…they were delicious. The drinks were all amazing! Everything was reasonably priced. We had the 7 course Omakase and it was incredibly delicious! Beautiful plating and presentation…top notch. I loved seeing the sunset while enjoying the amazing food. Chef Gerardo impressed us with his skills and it was a highlight of our stay there. I would give this resort 5 stars but I had an allergic reaction to the scents they place in the rooms..we were in the beach bungalow and the smell of the air freshener was really strong causing my allergies/sinus to flare up. Please consider hypoallergenic room fresheners or none at all. Overall the place is beautiful and you feel like you are in paradise.

The staff on the resort itself were amazing and very accommodating. The staff at the beach club however weren’t the best. The amenities and rooms were absolutely breathtaking!!! Couldn’t ask for better ❤️

Awful experience. The room was dirty, unsanitary, and had no running water. My family and I checked in late, had no other options, and left the next morning after reporting the issues to Hazel, who promised to fix it but never did. Later, Daniel (the manager) falsely claimed we stayed our entire booking, which is not true. We had two reservations — only one was addressed, and the other ignored. The property refused to refund us despite the unlivable conditions. Completely dishonest and unprofessional place. Do not stay here.
