Creekside nature trails, starry nights at Sand Dunes National Park, and nature photography out the back door makes this an excellent place to expand our connection to nature and explore spirituality.
Enjoy great tasting mountain water and explore the beautiful San Luis Valley expansive mountain views, Sand Dunes National Park, elegant Sand Hill Cranes, dark night skies for star gazing and be on the lookout for UFOS, many stories of sightings have been heard around Crestone! There are many local hiking trails nearby the house, some folks suggest the North Crestone Trailhead, Willow Lake is a great day hike, and the Creekside trails along the greenbelts in the Baca Grande Subdivision are spectacular and lush.
Crestone, Colorado is in the middle of the San Luis Valley. There is very limited public transportation in the area. We recommend Four Wheel Drive, or at least- All Wheel Drive if you are looking to come and stay during the Winter Season.

There are two small locally owned grocers, where you can find top of the line health food, vitamins and organic whole food. Enjoy dining in one of the locally owned cafes or restaurants and support the local artisans at one of the galleries or gift shops. We love our local thrift stores, so many hidden treasures can be found!
