Parking was very good and location was convenient for Chester and other tourist areas. New Brighton did not have much to offer and you could not easily walk far outside of the hotel.

This has to be the most tired out and dated property I have ever stayed at. Staff were very unwelcoming. All they wanted to do was get the card machine out and move me along. No directions to my room, where any facilities are located. Had no Information on check out time or breakfast time or location. In my opinion a badly run hotel where the owners are wringing the neck out of the place in terms of upgrading it. I personally date it to late 70’s early 80’s

Our room was very good, although water pressure was very low. (Room209) However our friends had a room that had not been updated and that was markedly dated and ill-equipped. They had only one chair in a double room.(Room 230). The staff were always efficient and attentive with good sense of humour. Breakfast was excellent.

Ideal place to stay conveniently situated for the town. Ate in the hotel and the food was excellent and great value for money. The staff in both parts were really helpful and lovely.

Dated and Needs a Lot of TLC

Room was large but sofa was stained and wardrobe was a child’s one, so couldn’t hang up a dress. Overall the whole hotel is dated and need of a lot of TLC, we won’t be returning.

Overnight stop

Standard hotel. Room we were in seened to have been updated. Howver lack of charging sockets meant that phones/tablets were on opposite sides of room Breakdast was as remembered from previous visits and food in bar was very good
