Vacation villa in Kenya in a fantastic location incl.Wlan +Smart TV Pay- TV

The villa is beautifully embedded by palm trees and plants. From our property it is only 400m to the beautiful sandy beach. The villa is equipped with an alarm system + security staff. In the immediate vicinity (20 meters away) is a 17X6 meter large community pool for 5 villas available. The villa with 170m2 living space, has 2 bedrooms on the ground floor (double beds incl. Mosquito nets). In the upper open gallery is a large living room with a double bed and a cot inc. .. mosquito net On the ground floor there are 2 bathrooms (shower) a safe and a kitchen with all electrical appliances. The villa still has a terrace. All bedrooms on the ground floor have fans. Sun loungers are available at the pool and garden. Our manager will greet you at the house and be your contact person. Right next door is also the wonderful golf course .. Everything you need is within a few minutes walk z. b. Bank, Supermarket, Safari Office, Shops, Restaurants u. S. W. You do not need a car here. Wi-Fi available.

Diani Beach is located about 30 km south of Mombasa, on one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world. Diani Beach is ideal for swimming, snorkeling, diving, windsurfing, also very suitable for children. Near the complex there are also the hospital, pharmacy, safari office, banks, supermarkets (eg Nakumat), restaurants golf course and some souvenir shops. More information can be obtained locally from the administration. Everything is within walking distance of our villa. You do not need a car here.

The villa it self was nice overall..the listing says 4 bedrooms but in all reality it was only two bedrooms and a loft with two beds upstairs in the loft.. The bedding was very damp almost like they were in a rush to put the bedding back on the beds after washing it... Wile sitting on the couch bedbugs bit my fiancée and you could see them crawling on the couch... The power went out and after calling the care taker and the property owner we were told we had to pay for our own electric. And then the water in the second bathroom would barely run and then there was no hot water in the ensuite shower had no hot water and had to show in cold water.... Next time we will be going elsewhere for our holiday in Mombasa.

The good and the bad

The best thing about this place was the swimming pool and Abdallah the chef we hired. He was EXCELLENT. If it weren’t for him we would not have known there was any hot water. Location to the beach by foot was reasonable. Property manager was visible and available and fixed all complaints in a timely manner. The bad thing was that no one turned on the water or the toilets for our arrival. This interrupted our holiday plans because we had to wait around for a guy to come get everything working. There was no toilet paper in the washrooms and that was the first thing we had to buy after a long trip. One of the fans in the downstairs bedrooms did not generate any breeze due to the fan blades not being at a proper angle. The neighbors dogs barked and howled every evening when the monkeys came through. The second morning I was awakened to the strong smell of someone smoking outside my room and a burst water pipe outside.

Unterkunft bietet alles nötige

Der Aufenthalt war alles in allem angenehm. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr gut, (NĂ€he Golfplatz) und liegt auch sehr schön in der Anlage platziert. Die Architektur ist dem Land entsprechend schön gemacht und ausgefĂŒhrt. (Makutti Dach) Holzarbeiten etc. Die Ruhe in der Anlage war echt angenehm. ( Bis auf das Hundegeheul beim Nachbarn.) Ein paar Dinge haben auch nicht wirklich ganz gepasst. Zimmer sollte jeden zweiten Tag gemacht werden. Leider kam das ZimmermĂ€dchen wĂ€hrend meines Aufenthaltes lediglich einmal um den MĂŒll rauszutragen und die HandtĂŒcher zu wechseln. Die BettwĂ€sche wurde in den 14 Tagen leider gar nicht gewechselt. Dass Zweite mal als das ZimmermĂ€dchen da war, sehr zeitig in der FrĂŒh, hatte ich Ihr gesagt Sie soll in einer Stunde wieder kommen. Gekommen ist Sie dann gar nicht. Der LĂ€rm der Hunde bei den Nachbarn ist leider sehr störend. Ein Dankeschön an die Vermieter und vielleicht komme ich ja nĂ€chstes Jahr wieder. Richard aus Salzburg
