This home is nested on 12 acres of pure tranquility backing up to a 100 acre cattle farm. You will get to enjoy peace and quite while you get away from it all. Property has a 2 acre pond, above ground swimming pool (Seasonal Memorial Day-Labor Day), cleared dirt walking/riding trails, fire pit, and fenced in backyard so the kids can play without worry.
We are located only 10 miles from Athens so you can enjoy the game and have only a short ride home. Perfect spot for a tailgate with your friends and family.

The house was clean, but the driveway had some clutter that could have been removed. The bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen was clean. The curtain rods were broken so if you moved the curtains it fell off. The backyard looked like it needed a good cleaning up. We did not use the pool. The kitchen was okay. We didn't cook. Overall, I would recommend but don't expect too much. Owners were very nice.

The house is great and the property is top notch if you are looking for peace and quiet. The location is in a very pretty area with a nice pond that is filled with wildlife. The host was very nice, it has all the essentials and has great WiFi.

Lovely Setting

I had out of state family stay here for a reunion in the area. It served the purpose very well. The only complaint would be that it didn’t seem as clean as one would hope and I’m not any kind of clean freak. Nothing major, just didn’t seem like it had been cleaned properly for a while. When the next reunion comes around I’ll be happy to revisit it though!

Great getaway for the weekend

Had a great weekend here with our kids. Took them to the GA game, which is only 30 minutes away. They enjoyed the pool and pond on the property. The house had everything we needed and we slept comfortably. The owner responded quickly to our questions. Highly recommend!

Private location away from traffic and crowds.

Nice spot to meet up with family to celebrate our son's graduation away from Athens. We were able to cook/eat at home which allowed less time waiting in lines/driving and more quality time with family.

We rented this location for our family who lives across the country and those her

The property is secluded and could be really nice if taken care of. The house was not clean and there is multiple piles of junk around the property from old mattresses to old toilets just dumped around the property. The inside was not clean at all . There was no internet. I was just disappointed and would not rent here again. It’s too bad since it could be such a lovely secluded get away if taken care of and cleaned .
