This home is nested on 12 acres of pure tranquility backing up to a 100 acre cattle farm. You will get to enjoy peace and quite while you get away from it all. Property has a 2 acre pond, above ground swimming pool (Seasonal Memorial Day-Labor Day), cleared dirt walking/riding trails, fire pit, and fenced in backyard so the kids can play without worry.
We are located only 10 miles from Athens so you can enjoy the game and have only a short ride home. Perfect spot for a tailgate with your friends and family.

Great getaway for the weekend

Had a great weekend here with our kids. Took them to the GA game, which is only 30 minutes away. They enjoyed the pool and pond on the property. The house had everything we needed and we slept comfortably. The owner responded quickly to our questions. Highly recommend!

The house was clean, but the driveway had some clutter that could have been removed. The bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen was clean. The curtain rods were broken so if you moved the curtains it fell off. The backyard looked like it needed a good cleaning up. We did not use the pool. The kitchen was okay. We didn't cook. Overall, I would recommend but don't expect too much. Owners were very nice.

Family birthday weekend

We needed a place to stay for the weekend because we were visiting the area for our granddaughters birthday. Ten family members stayed and we all enjoyed our time together. The pool table was great to entertain our grandsons and husbands. We were gone during the day and ate out. Kitchen was fully equipped with all items a family wold need. We had our own k-cup coffee maker, but rental has a very nice coffee maker and a large container of coffee was left in the refrigerator for guests. Good WiFi, TV reception.

Lovely Setting

I had out of state family stay here for a reunion in the area. It served the purpose very well. The only complaint would be that it didn’t seem as clean as one would hope and I’m not any kind of clean freak. Nothing major, just didn’t seem like it had been cleaned properly for a while. When the next reunion comes around I’ll be happy to revisit it though!

The property is secluded and could be really nice if taken care of. The house was not clean and there is multiple piles of junk around the property from old mattresses to old toilets just dumped around the property. The inside was not clean at all . There was no internet. I was just disappointed and would not rent here again. It’s too bad since it could be such a lovely secluded get away if taken care of and cleaned .
