Overpriced for the quality. We enjoyed the beautiful architectural design of Julia Morgan. But the property is not well maintained, and it hasn’t been updated inside the rooms. Our room has icky water leak marks at the ceiling and peeling wallpaper. The price is too high for a simple room with no television, coffee maker, microwave, or fridge.

I love Asilomar. Perfect location. Beautiful architecture. Magical grounds. Easy walk to the beach. Breakfast is fantastic too. But there was a mix-up with our room, and although we were upgraded, the front desk staff wasn't very friendly or understanding. Also, the blinds in our bedroom were missing their rod so we couldn't shut them all the way to block out light for sleeping.

There was no fridge no tv and construction outside window. Had to search for ocean view. Bed was cheap and hard to sleep. Room didnt match picture. No coffee maker either. We left a day early
