Limited free parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
No telephone nor internet in our room. The front desk is only open from 8am to 8 pm. During closures we need to drive to the Conference Center to call for help, making it extremely inconvenient for us. The employees gave incomplete and sometimes wrong information . đĄ
The bed is very comfortable. But the heater broke down in the middle of the night made a loud noise. The toilet is leaking. The coffee is not good. Other than that itâs very convenient. The cafe has good selections. The restaurant serve reasonable breakfast and dinner is ok for the convenience.
The ambience of the Lodge was warm and inviting as it was nestled among the Redwoods with wonderful trails in a beautiful setting. The room was large with everything needed and a small balcony. The dining room had delicious food and very friendly, responsive staff.
A great place for mountain vacation and hiking, the rooms are large, clean and the staff are friendly! Everything here is like a paradise, you are completely integrated with nature! My family and I like it very much. In addition, it is also suitable for people traveling with pets, and it is also a paradise for pets!
We really enjoyed our time staying at the lodge. The location was amazing with so many trails leading from there. The coffee shop was really convenient and the restaurant pretty good. Our cottage had plenty of room for the two of us and nice accommodations. The bed was really soft. Would highly recommend staying here.
The restaurant inside Big Sur Lodge was really not very tasty. The French fries were too wet with oil and the onion fries were all melted. And the hamburger patties was smelly.
Too expensive for the tasteless food. And the website said the Wi-Fi worked, but it never did.
So, you had to go to the office or conference room, and if an employee was using it, you had to wait a long time to use it. Except for the kitchen unit, there isn't even a microwave. The refrigerator is too small to store food, so it can only accommodate drinks. A large family would have to pay more than $50 per person for each meal.
I would never recommend this place to my friends.
