we were looking for a place that was centrally located for the family to get together for Thanksgiving. This house was perfect. Beautiful location overlooking a lake, large open areas inside the house, and comfortable bedrooms. The host was great, answered questions about the house and area. He setup a travel crib for the 1 year old. Would love to visit this house next year.

Communication with host was quick and helpful. The home was perfect in every way: comfortable, clean, well equiped with everything we needed. The home was lovely and the views were spectacular. We planned this for my 91 y.o. mother, who is in a wheelchair and we were able to navigate the 2 steps into the home with little difficulty. The open concept of the first floor and bedroom were perfect for her. We all enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend.

Tanglewood Singing Week

We are five singers who participated in the Berkshire Choral International event at Tanglewood. With four bedrooms and four baths, the property was ideal for one couple and three single travelers. Although the weather was rainy, the view of the lake was wonderful. The kitchen is well stocked, so we could cook meals. The owners are very responsive and helpful.

The gas stove makes a continuous clicking noise which was a bit annoying. The pool area and pool itself do not have lighting which makes it inconvenient to use in the evening. We reached out to the maintenance man for instructions to turn on the pool heater and never heard back. Aside from those small inconveniences, the house is in a great location right on the beach. It was clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The living area is spacious and plenty of beach towels are provided. Bedrooms have ceiling fans and we were able to set the AC at a temperature that was comfortable for us - a nice perk compared to other properties we’ve stayed at.
