Nestled in the oldest surviving residential area of Montgomery, The Cottage Hill historic district traces its' origins back to the pre-Civil War era of the 1830's. This neighborhood encompasses 42 acres of mature trees, sidewalks, and Queen Anne homes. The Hill overlooks not only the Alabama River but also the downtown area of Montgomery. It's within walking distance of several restaurants and nightlife for the city, but placed in a quaint setting with charming and unique architecture.
You will be provided with a unique code that you can use to access the property via the electronic deadbolt.
Driving or taking an Uber is the best way to get around Montgomery.

We're excited to host you. Before you confirm your booking, please be aware that we require guests to sign a separate rental agreement as part of the booking process. This agreement outlines important details about your stay, including house rules, check-in/check-out procedures, and other essential information.

Early Check-In & Late Check-Out Early check-ins and late check-outs are subject to availability. If available, the fee is $20.00 per hour (minimum of one hour). Please reach out as soon as possible if youâd like to request an extension.
Security & Monitoring For the safety and security of our guests and the property, we have motion-activated cameras installed on the exterior areas only. These cameras record audio and video and monitor entrances, patios, and pool areas (if applicable).
Additionally, we use a noise monitoring device inside the property. This device does not record audio or video but helps us ensure that noise levels remain respectful for neighbors.
AGE REQUIREMENTS The primary booking guest must be at least 21 years of age for an apartment and age 25 for a single family house. The primary booking guest is required to be present for the duration of the stay and is responsible for all guests, visitors, and compliance with house rules. Reservations made by guests who do not meet the minimum age requirement may be canceled prior to check-in or during the stay, without refund, if the age requirement is found to be misrepresented. This policy is in place for safety, insurance, and property protection purposes and is applied consistently to all guests.
Everything was just as described! Clean cute little place. Haven was super excited that she was able to stay with her humans! Will return if visiting Montgomery again!
The only complaints I had was there was only 2 bath towels 1 wash cloth 2 forks, spoons and 3 knives
Bed was very comfortable, air conditioning kept the home very cold.
The property was very responsive when communicating through the app. We had an issue with the door code and messaged through the app and they fixed it promptly.
There was an issue with animal hair and cleanliness, which was not as urgent of an issue as the door code, so decided to notify the property of the issue via the email communication I received asking how our stay was going. My intent was to inform them of the extraordinary amount of cat hair present on all surfaces in the property (which was a lot considering that I am a cat owner and as such I would expect a property that allows animals to have a minimal amount). Since all renters pay a cleaning fee, I suggested that they may need to confirm the cleanliness prior to check-in and after waiting for a response for over 24 hours I decided to send the same message via the app and a response was promptly received again.
No action was needed as our stay had already ended. I am not saying this was a bad experience, per se, but I did have higher expectations. I would encourage anyone with allergies to pet hair to verify that a deep clean has taken place since February 2024 before booking, which based on my experience with the property owner, I am confident the issue will be addressed.
