Room was very pleasant, be aware that when you book breakfast included this is NOT a full cooked breakfast. It is only a very limited continental breakfast. Croissant, yoghurt and boxed cereals. Not cold meats or cheeses. The hotel is on the main road and opposite another major junction so traffic noise is an issue. Evening meals are very good.
Having had a meal in the restaurant we were having a drink afterwards in the bar with friends , but were told we had to disband because the bar was closing at 10.00pm and we’d have to leave. An enforced return to our rooms!
Lovely rooms well equipped, disappointed with the food, dining room unbearably hot (don’t know why they didn’t open door) lots of flies in the dining room (was off putting when eating) and the bar closed at 9pm meaning we had no option other than to spend the evening in our room.
We was welcomed by staff as soon as we arrived. clean room great food .the nags head was cosy and the staff where happy to help in anyway to make our visit special 10/10
Very helpful and friendly staff, also noticed I was on crutches and offered me the option of a downstairs room which was very much appreciated. First class service, cleanliness and breakfast.
Good location with plenty of off road parking. Lovely modern interior, bedroom was clean and well appointed.
Food was superb and staff were friendly and helpful.
A great relaxing stay.
An overnight stop on the way to Pembrokeshire.
Staff were all very friendly and the food was very good.
The hotel is on quite a busy road, though we did go for a walk along the local canal and golf course and that was pleasant - and we avoided the thunderstorms !
Amazing business stay...... Very comfortable, clean room with all general amenities. Food in the restaurant was amazing & staff very friendly. Will definitely return.
This is my 5th stay on the way home from Wales. Its excellent value for money, very convenient on A483 and has a superb restaurant. The rooms are very well appointed . Unfortunately this time i arrived late after the restaurant closed but I was offered a dessert ( which was delicious) and i enjoyed an excellent breakfast.
Excellent Hotel and the Food was Amazing .Staff were fabulous .Breakfast was good as well. However we had a young girl at breakfast who didn’t look up to greet us.we had to ask where we were seated. She never returned to see if we needed more coffee! More training needed. Not a front person. The young girls we had for check in and our evening were Amazing .
My room had a TV with no reception so i couldn’t watch anything despite 2 members of staff having a look to be told someone else would have a look but never did.
Also felt misled as said breakfast bug as I went for breakfast it was a continental breakfast and if I wanted a cooked breakfast it was an additional £10.
We can thoroughly recommend The Nags Head. Our room was charming and the food excellent with generous portions and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and helpful too.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was beautiful, we were breaking our journey up so only stayed the one night, we had a very relaxing time just a shame about the loud couple below our room but it got sorted, would definitely stay again.
