Property has 3 bedrooms and one bath. Hotel quality mattresses and linens. Plenty of parking in this large lake front lot. Home has brand new hung TVs in every room- enjoy Netflix after a long day at the beach. 2 kayaks are provided for instant lake access.

Property is close to multiple lake front restaurants. Close to Indiana Beach, golf courses & drive-in movie theatre. Lake Schafer has a lot to offer guests.

House has king bed, bunk bed with 2 brand new full mattresses, and 1 additional futons- plenty of sleeping options.

Grill your family dinner lake front on the provided Weber grill. Drink your morning coffee in the screened in porch and watch the sun come up.

Great Cottage on the Lake

We stayed at this lakeside cottage for five days and overall had a good time. The cottage itself was cozy and clean, with three bedrooms that comfortably fit our group of six. The outdoor space was definitely a highlight — plenty of room to relax, soak up the sunshine, and take in the beautiful lake view.Unfortunately, the lake was quite full of algae during our stay, which made it unsuitable for swimming or fishing. That was disappointing, especially since we’d been looking forward to spending more time in the water. Thankfully, the kids still had a blast kayaking, and the peaceful setting made for some relaxing afternoons.Inside, everything was functional, but the bathroom water had a strange smell and discoloration that made us a bit uneasy.As for the surrounding town, it’s pretty quiet — not a lot of shopping options — but we did enjoy a visit to the nearby amusement park and checked out one of the local wineries. Golfers would probably enjoy the area too.All in all, it’s a nice spot if you're looking for a low-key retreat and plan to spend most of your time outdoors.

Cute cottage

The cottage worked out very nicely for our brief stay and Michael responded quickly to any thing we needed. The lily pad was a big hit! Thanks Michael for a special time with my 96 year-old mom!

Communication with the host - top notch! Right on the water - with a dock to enjoy the view. We had some weather related issues - and the host did a great job communicating, ensuring we were safe and seeing if we needed anything.Thank you!This is a 3 bedroom (1 with access via the enclosed porch) one bath - but we had plenty of space for our family.

Best time of my life!

Had so much fun on the lake soaking in the sun, grilled steaks and chilled around fire pit. These memories will last a lifetime. Our family loved this comfy lake house.

Wedding Getaway

Cutest little house on the lake. Super easy check in. Accessibility and communication with property manager was prompt and addressed all of our needs in real time. We would most definitely stay here again. It was the perfect little getaway to relax before my daughter's wedding.

Lake Shafer Cottage vacation

Cute little cottage. Very clean. Owner prompt to answer questions and easy to contact. We had a wonderful time relaxing with comfortable outside seating; especially down by lake and docks. We’re lucky to use new concrete patio on waters edge! Friendly neighbors nice area. Our daughter and grandsons sharing time togather. Thanks to Mike for sparing his lake house !

Family Vacation

Pleasant interaction with Michael, the owner, before even staying at the home. Michael went above and beyond to answer questions, give information, and make sure we would have a fantastic stay. Last Minute Trip Made Easy

We decided on the spur of the moment to rent a nearby place on the lake to enjoy the last of the fall sunshine. The owners made it easy and we were booked in no time. Even though the kitchen and living room was compact, it was cute, had everything we needed and could easily lodge 8 sleepers. We enjoyed our stay!

Great House, Great Location, Beautiful Water

Great house, everything you need. Very clean. Easy to communicate with the owner. Good A/C system made it nice for sleeping. There was 4 of us but this house could sleep 6 easily. Plenty of room.
