I love this place, I always have the only thing I can say that I felt the bed was harder than I remembered. Itâs quiet and beautifully decorated. I value this place to stay. We come to see my father in law whoâs not doing well. So coming to the moon house is a peace of mind. Thanks for the opportunity to be cared about.
Very convenient to wineries in Paonia. We had a great stay! Kitchen seemed ready to cook in, although we didn't (we opted to enjoy the great local restaurants!). Very clean. Great communication from the hosts. Definitely would stay again.
This place was great! Very accommodating to my dogs and baby! The night sky views are lovely too. The area is beautiful and the home was tidy and wonderfully decorated. The soaking tub was divine. I would recommend this stay and the area to anyone looking for a calm, quiet getaway in a lovely town close to hiking trails and several farms and wineries.
The Moon House hosts provided thorough instructions and directions that were helpful during our late evening arrival in the dark. Access to the house was easy, the kitchen was well-appointed, every room was clean - what more could you want!We made breakfasts and packed lunches in the kitchen each day, and found everything that we needed for that. The bedrooms/beds/bathrooms were clean and comfortable. While it wasn't at the top of our list for this home and this stay, we did find the TV in the living room to be great! (It is football season, after all!) We enjoyed meeting the yellow lab Charlie, the welcoming committee for the Moon House. We are all dog-lovers so was fun to play catch with him and just see his happy face when we drove in!All in all, it was a wonderful stay!
Exactly as advertised. Clean property, easy communication with owners from start to end of process. Everything was in the home that we needed: RE Kitchen supplies etc. Location was excellent and centrally located. close local restaurants and grocery story also a plus. We stayed to visit the northern rim of Black Canyon at Gunnison. Southern Rim was partially open secondary to wild fires but also within an hour. Charlie the lab was a great bonus! He greeted us and was well behaved and loved to play fetch with his tennis ball! Awesome bonus to the rental. Thank for having us and will definitely stay again.
Chadwell & Carissa have a fantastic home with all the amenities you'll need during your stay. Their communication from booking to departure was top notch and they made booking with them a breeze. We felt like we were borrowing a friend's house rather than booking a rental! If you need more space, rent their Luna Lodge next door. Our friends were staying there (suprise to both of us!) and it's equally lovely.
Very comfortable, super clean home. Coffee in the morning was lovely. We loved the bottle of wine left for us but left it for the next guest as we do not drink wine. The house was well stocked with everything and lovely decor. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere the most and Charlie the yellow lab. What a great dog, he likes to play catch with his tennis ball. Thank you for providing such a comfortable home. We would definitely come back.
This was our second time staying at the moon house, and it was as cozy and clean as ever. Because of our familiarity with the house, it was like coming home. A great place for us to stay when visiting our family in Hotchkiss!
We were impressed by the cleanliness, the layout of the house, and the well-equipped kitchen. We also appreciated the host coming over within a few minutes of calling to help with the outdoor gas fireplace.
Plenty of room for our group. All the necessities were there. Absolutely spotless! Obviously an older home, renovated and well maintained. Convenient to Crawford, and the north Rim.
