The Royal presents itself impeccably. It has quality everywhere you look. Our room was immaculate and food quality didn’t let us down. However, our experience at breakfast was a little disappointing as everything was being cleared away before we had finished eating!! And our charges to the room were taken from my credit card without any prior consultation. Still waiting for an email of my bill which was promised? All just seemed a bit unprofessional?

The Royal at Heysham.

We found The Royal a well managed hotel run by Phil and his staff. It offered excellent food and accommodation complimented with excellent garden facilities where we could have a drink and relax. Ideally situated the hotel is only minutes from Heyshem seafront.

Great Hotel and Excellent Customer Service

The Royal is a great hotel situated in the quaint village of Heysham. We loved our stay. Lots of nice walks and history. The hotel has a very relaxed and chilled atmosphere. The food is excellent and all staff are friendly and display excellent communication and customer service skills. Everwhere is spotlessly clean. Free parking is an added bonus. We will be returning soon and I will recommend the Royal to my friends and family.

A must for a short break

Beautifully appointed hotel - restaurant and rooms. Very well trained staff. Excellent food. We were a party of 17, and our food came out for everyone at the same time - most impressive. Would definitely recommend for small or large parties.
