A spectacular barn conversion - Highgate

Highgate is a beautiful refurbished barn that has been transformed into a blissful Cotswold holiday home which sleeps four guests (no children aged seven or under permitted), in two delightful bedrooms, with two bathrooms. This fabulous boutique retreat boasts an elegantly styled open plan living space, original oak beams, log burner, courtyard garden and unique layout, with separate staircases to the two bedrooms. If that wasn't enough, it is only a stone's throw from the attractive town centre of Moreton-in-Marsh.

Highgate can be booked either on its own, or with The Puzzle House which sleeps four guests in the adjacent property.

This two bedroom holiday cottage in Moreton-in-Marsh is perfectly suited for those looking to get together with friends, exploring the local countryside and eateries. The accommodation is laid out as follows:

We had a wonderful 5-night stay at Highgate. The property exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely recommend it to others. The home was perfectly situated, walking distance to many nice restaurants and pubs while at the same time a very short walk from the Train Station. The home was very clean, quiet and very well presented. We enjoyed several days of R&R as well as exploring the awesome surrounding areas via the local bus and train service. The communications from the Property Manager were spot-on. We look forward to a return visit soon.

Cozy New Years

The cottage was absolutely perfect for our family of four get away. Located right in the middle of town, and easy to access. It was super clean and had everything we needed. Our favourite was to cozy up to the wood fireplace at night. A dream stay. Felt like home.

We didn't have a car so buses to local villages, etc were very convenient. The train station was also nearby. The decor and comfort level of the unit was excellent. Close proximity to restaurants and food outlets. Although there were supplies to light a fire in the fireplace, we were uncomfortable doing so as there weren't any instructions. We would definitely like to come back someday.

Fabulous place to stay

We had an amazing break away at Highgate. The barn was beautiful and had absolutely everything you could need. Loved it. Helen helped us out first night when I couldn’t get cooker to work my fault ! She was there straight away. Bed was so comfortable best we have slept in when away. Perfect in every way and will be back.

Highgate- Amazing stay in a wonderful location

We stayed in the amazingly comfortable and well appointed accommodation Helen was wonderful and very accommodating. Four adults were extremely comfortable and it was a great relaxing oasis to return to after a day of exploring the Cotswolds We would highly recommend Highgate to anyone who wanted well located and comfortable accommodation when exploring the Cotswolds

We had an amazing time here. The space was absolutely beautiful, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Our host was made sure we had what we needed to enjoy our stay and communication was excellent. The lay out worked very well for two couple travelling together. Shops and restaurants were nearby.

Peaceful retreat and wonderful hiking

The property is one of the nicest I have stayed at. Well stocked with everything I could need. Location was great, a short walk from the train station and very close to town but still very quiet.Loved it and hope to come back with friends

Superb accommodation, very cosy & comfortable and exceptionally clean.

The accommodation is well thought out and everything you can think of has been provided. The property is spotless, cosy and warm and so easy to relax in. We appreciated having a secure space to park at the property, which is perfectly situated just off the High Street. Moreton in the Marsh is a great place to explore the Cotswolds and I can’t recommend Highgate enough as the place to enjoy your stay.

Stunning and quiet cottage tucked nicely behind the high street

The cottage is really well finished, very clean and tidy. Booking and access was a doddle. Brilliantly located and very quiet. Each room has a well appointed private bathroom/shower room. I highly recommend this place.

Great find!

Our accommodation in Moreton was delightful. A wonderful mix of a historic structure with modern amenities. It was great to be in a wonderful village with the train and bus services near by.

This cottage was the highlight of our 3 ½ week trip around the UK. So nice to spread out, do some laundry, and open some windows! Excellent central location, close to train station/tour pickups, and it felt very secure and quiet tucked away in the back of the main street.

Fabulous Stay at Highgate

This is one of the best designed, most comfortable, immaculately presented rental properties we've had the pleasure to rent in the UK. Everything you needed was at you fingertips, very comfortable and offered the best of both worlds.....beams and character but thoroughly modern. Fabulous 2-night stay at Highgate. Highgate is spacious, characterful, super clean and super well-equipped. We loved it. Moreton-in-Marsh is a great base for walks and has plenty of great coffee shops, places to eat and pubs.

Place was awesome!

This cottage was very nice, looked newly renovated all the while keeping a lot of charm. Both bedrooms are nicely separated with their own set of stairs for privacy, as well as each having their own full bathroom. Location was great, very easy walk from the train station, less than 5mins. As close as it is to a main road and train station, the cottage is very quiet and private. We had a very enjoyable stay!
