Thelma’s Place is a completely renovated 2 story house, nestled in the beautiful Laurel Highlands, yet conveniently located right along Route 982. The home is situated on an acre lot with a stream running through the far end of the back lawn. It’s a perfect place to sit in the shade and relax by the babbling brook, or let your little ones enjoy splashing in the refreshing cool water. It’s just minutes from Arnold Palmer Airport and the city of Latrobe, as well as Westmoreland Fairgrounds. Pittsburgh is within an hour’s drive. Ohiopyle, Fallingwater, and Seven Springs, are other nearby attractions.

We welcome long term stays, including guests looking to work remotely. It truly has a “home away from home” feel.

The kitchen was well stocked. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. Our only disappointments were the beds were uncomfortable and the couch springs in the corner were terrible. It was a little too close to the road for sleeping at night with the road noise.

Everything was perfect. Loved the little "extras" - so thoughtful. Appreciated the owner's prompt responses to my questions. We enjoyed the “homey” feel of the place, the open living space, the comfortable beds, the well stocked kitchen… pretty much everything about it. It was just as advertised… a beautiful home, on a really pretty property, and surprisingly quiet, considering the fairly busy road it’s on. The house was adorable. So cozy and clean. The beds were very comfy. We arrived much later than expected due to a rental car mixup at the airport. When we arrived at the house we were ELATED to find a few bottled waters in the fridge. It was very much appreciated.

Great place to stay, would stay again. communication with the owners was easy and quick to respond. Only things to bring to attention is no TV and water pressure in the shower is low. Other than that we had a great stay.
