I booked this property through Expedia after applying filters for âFree Parkingâ and âFree Breakfastâ, both of which were clearly listed under the amenities. Unfortunately, the reality did not match what was advertised.
There was no free parking available. The only realistic option was a private garage that cost âŹ20 per day, cash only â they didnât accept cards. Other nearby parking options were expensive, around âŹ2 per hour, so the garage was the best choice despite the unexpected cost. Had I known about this in advance, I would have booked a different property with true free parking, a kitchen, or a proper included breakfast.
The cushions were extremely uncomfortable, and after using the shower, the bathroom developed a strong, unpleasant odor that lingered until the next morning when the cleaning staff arrived.
In short, this was a disappointing experience. The listing was misleading, and if the information had been correct, I would have booked a completely different place.
This is the first time Iâve ever felt the need to leave a negative review for a place Iâve stayed at. I always try to be fair and understanding, but in this case the experience simply didnât match what was promised.
And judging by other reviews, Iâm now expecting a rude reply from the owner instead of any kind of apology or acknowledgment.
