Private unit Located in the beautiful Huonvalley, 63 acres of bush. Overlooking the Huonvalley and Sleeping Beauty.. Access to the outdoor bar, hothouse and your own fire pit, with wood supplied. Fast Wifi. Located 35 mins from Hobart, and 10 mins to Huonville. Full bathroom and kitchen. Both bedrooms have electric beds, Double bed sized sofa bed for extra guests, the house has ramps and one level inside. Wide doorways grab rails in the bathroom. Lots of wildlife to spotlight, feed and enjoy.

Fantastic, the hostess welcomed us and made us feel special. The apartment was lovely with plenty of extras. Beds were great and living area was very comfortable. Couldn’t fault it. Would love to come back.

Michelle was warm and welcoming . We had the best stay. Everything we needed was available. Michelle showed us around the beautiful 63 acre property with a wood fire bath on the hill .Amazing views over the hills. Quiet and clean , couldn’t ask for anything more . Thank you Michelle .

Overall excellent stay and recommend to anyone who needs a quiet escape in a cozy space. It isn't the most modern or luxurious but more than makes up for it with it's complete amenities and view like it's meant for guests to enjoy themselves. Michelle is a welcoming and responsive host.

Very welcoming and friendly host, the house was lovely and cosy and the coffee machine made a bloody good coffee! The view was also incredible. We had our two young kids with us and they loved seeing the pigs and chickens on the property and exploring the grounds. Thank you for a really lovely stay!

Great place to stay. We only stayed for one night but would have loved to stay longer and enjoy the relaxing environment. Views of the surrounding are beautiful and can enjoyed from the perfectly placed sun room/verandah. Also, we enjoyed great views of a wandering echidna from the verandah. Highly recommended , especially if you love being close to nature .

WOW! Not only a wonderfully modern and clean home, but the views....just breathtaking. This is the perfect location to get away from the city noise and lights, just peaceful with the sounds of nature. Location it close enough to town for supplies, or a cafe trip to see the local areas, but nothing compares to the view and the stars at night. Great location to recharge and regroup as a family. Big thankyou to our hosts, Michelle and Blu, who made us feel welcome from day one with some supplies and were there if needed. They made you feel like you were family visiting with them. Definitely will look to stay again when we visit. 10/10 xxx

Million Dollar views

Cosy farm cottage. Looks very new. Interior was very clean. The sun room has fantastic unobstructed views of valley and hills, and comfy sofas to sit. Highlight was eating breakfast in the sunroom, while gazing upon distant hills. The host Michelle was very friendly and helpful. There are tracks for the walking. Great place for those who like nature and a quiet retreat.

A great stay

Fantastic view of the Houn valley, the very lovely host has made the stay a homey feel to live in, the beds are super comfortable with the added luxury of having electric beds, It’s a peaceful location to stay in and only 30 minutes from Hobart. We would recommend the stay to anyone thankyou

Great little place in the country

Michelle was on hand to greet us and explain everything. Unit was spotlessly clean and very well equipped, with not only appliances and utensils but also a range of condiments, fruit juices and other beverages. Bed and other furnishings comfortable. Overall a very pleasant experience and we would happily stay there again!

Property had absolutely everything we could have needed. It was warm, clean, comfy beds, accessible for my older mum and my dog had a great time too. Views were fabulous. Cant wait to go again in warmer weather to enjoy outside area.

It was wonderfully clean, modern and yet very comfortable. Every wish was catered for right down to some complimentary chocolates. However, the best thing of all was the heavenly, adjustable bed - pure bliss for an old back and wrecked knees! Thank you so much Michelle, our stay was far to short but it was great.

A warm welcome!

We were welcomed warmly by the hosts. They showed us through the unit, explained how everything worked and made sure we were settled. The unit was very well presented, very clean and offered many comforts from the warm gas heater to the electric blankets on the beds. The kitchen was well appointed. We had a very comfortable stay. If and when we return to Tassie and need accommodation near Mountain River we would definitely stay again. Thank you.
