Excellent hotel. Grounds are beautiful with green areas and a stream running right through. Room was large and comfortable. Quiet, well kept, and an excellent choice on the west of Munich.

My wife and I celebrated our 10th Wedding Anniversary. The staff and patrons staying there were great to talk with. They helped us with finding additional things to go see and do. We would definitely go back and stay again. Food and service was great!

It’s very expensive menu, and with limited options available to new visitor it makes it hard. If you wish to use the kitchenette in your room, it costs to have it turned on. There’s no coffee or tea in the rooms, you have to pay for them. Beer garden next door not opened at all as per opening times. Very cluttered in beer garden grounds. The soup was good, the breakfast was lukewarm to just above cold. Close to trains and buses. I wouldn’t recommend staying there

The place was lovely! We enjoyed our stay. It worked perfect for us to visit the area and stay out of the city. They were having issues with front desk help on our check in date. So check in was a bit rocky. My only complaint is… we paid extra for a superior room with a kitchen but, we have to pay to use the kitchen.

We booked this hotel and expected a calm and quiet night given its location. However, what we got was exactly the opposite. There was a wedding happening at the hotel with loud music until after 1:30am and we were not informed at all. To make it worse, we were given a room in the 1st floor just above the tent where the wedding was happening. At check-in the staff didn't inform us and when we got back to the room the reception was already closed. The hotel was nice and rustic, the breakfast was really good. The location has bus really near by, but not a lot of things around. It could have been a great stay if it wasn't for the noise. At check-out, when I complained about it I was told to claim it to Expedia because the hotel couldn't do anything for me except offering me a coffee.. I could recommend it but first call them and ask if weddings are planned, otherwise you won't get any proper sleep

A modern, yet cozy hotel in charming surroundings. We enjoyed being able to walk to the train station and take the S-Bahn to the Marienplatz for a day. Breakfasts each morning were a delectable feast! We had an issue with the plumbing in our bathroom, but the hotel management did their best to fix it and gave us a small credit due to the inconvenience. We would definitely stay again!

What an amazingly unique property with a river running alongside the restaurant & thru the property to the beer garden which had great food & wonderful ambiance. Loved the whole experience.
