We stayed at JAMS from December 5-10. From checkin to checkout, the experience was fantastic! Knowledgeable front desk staff helped us navigate Munich in the most efficient way to optimize our time. The room itself was very clean and offered the unusual king sized bed configuration. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet area but still very accessible to the subway station (5 minute walk). We were able to access Marienplatz in a ten minute subway ride. The breakfast bar was as you’d expect at a European continental breakfast - meats, cheeses and breads galore. As an added tip, if you want something warm to eat like an omelet, you can order that from the server and the cook will whip one up for you! Would it have been more convenient to stay by Marienplatz? Yes! BUT, we enjoyed being able to come back to a quiet area and away from the hustle and bustle of the Christmas markets. We would definitely stay at JAMS again when we go back to Munich!!

Funky, fun floor themes. Restaurant was pretty good, breakfast was good and had plenty of options. The front desk staff was great. One server in the restaurant was fairly rude to my traveling companion on the first night, so we went across the street to a lovely restaurant instead, and really enjoyed our dinner. My traveling companion had issues with noise from her neighbors, and her door didn't lock, so that was sub-par. I enjoyed having a bluetooth speaker in the room, so I could listen to my music in the mornings while I got ready. And the location, a block from the tram and only a few blocks from a central subway line, was ideal.

Great stay In Munich. Hotel is clean and modern and music theme is great. Well connected to public transport with a tram stop a minute away and the station to the airport about a 5 minute walk away. Highly recommend and would stay again

I had two rooms. One for my parents and one for my sibling and me. The heating didn’t work and we needed to order a heater to the room. The toilet is a closet and is really small. The rooms didn’t have a tea or coffee machine which is standard even in a motel. The breakfast didn’t have a lot of options in the morning. Note- the shower is not exactly private so let’s say this hotel is not family friendly. Staff was helpful, the issue is the hotel and the amenities itself.

It was Music themed . It was unique . Bar was closed on sunday and monday which i wouldnt expect in a hotel . No tea bags or milk in the room but water , beer and soft drinks were provided.

We travel a lot, Germany was not necessarily the easiest to find small properties with reasonable prices. Many businesses had intentionally inflated their rates because of Oktoberfest. As fun and festive Oktoberfest is to experience, the event is located in a large outside space that you need to find your way to, and navigate through thousands of festival goers and probably get discouraged from paying for overpriced food and beer, especially when it’s next to impossible to enter a bier garten. Despite all that, Design-Hotel JAMS was a property worth the time researching. Barely a 10 walk from the subway, barely a 15 minute walk to Altstadt… the hotel sits on an arm of a circle that you can walk an entire 360 degrees and back to the hotel with endless things to admire, appreciate, dine, and enjoy and realize you may not even need transportation if you take your time to stroll through this historic beautiful part of the city. The hotel was all around cute, clean, and the staff “uber” friendly as well as friendly. The quality put into the hotel from the rooms to the restaurant is mentally satisfying which is why we prefer to research boutique hotels versus large properties where we find we are just another reservation. The breakfast was hand crafted from the endless coffee options, to the cheeses, cured meats, breads, and individually made omelettes. If we find our way ever back to Munich, JAMS is a hotel we’d be happy to spend time at again. Thank you team at JAMS!

A very "Jazzy" hotel

We were very welcomed to the hotel. The staff staid overtime to help us park the car and guide us to the room. IT is a relatively small and quiet hotel close to the park. I believe will go there often.
