Carolina Cottage (5 beds room,5.5 bathroom) AND Hideaway ( 5 bedrooms, 5.5 bathroom) are new adjacent beach house units that are mirror imaged. They can be rented TOGETHER or SEPARATELY for weddings or family reunions. If rented Together they provide 10 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms and sleeping for 28 people!!!!
'Carolina Cottage AND Hideaway are beach house units with the best of both worlds; one block from the Atlantic Ocean in front and situated on the tranquil Garden City Marsh in back. Property is located on a quite back street with minimal traffic.

Spend your mornings playing on the beach and your afternoons hanging out at your private pool overlooking the tidal marsh with the egrets, osprey, and pelicans. The sunset over the marsh is breathtaking. If you are up for more exciting events, try CRABBING, SHRIMPING, or FLOUNDER FISHING off the dock (who knows, you may catch enough to provide your family with a great seafood dinner!) Life is good at Carolina Cottage and Hideaway!

Both houses are comparably decorated with a colorful beach theme. The LIVING ROOMS has a sofa, loveseat and large chair with ottoman, 50' Flatscreen, and cable. The KITCHENS comes fully stocked and stainless-steel appliances. EACH unit has TWO MASTER BEDROOMS one is on the main floor and the upstairs. Both have king beds, large master bath, private balcony, flat screen TV and cable. Four more bedrooms upstairs. One is the second master bedroom, two with queen beds and one with three twin beds for the kids. All bedrooms have full PRIVATE BATHS, cable connected flat screen TVs and outside DECKS. WIFI throughout.

Don't take home those dirty clothes, take advantage of the washer/dryer and make it easier on yourself when you get home.
Pet dogs are always welcome with a pet fee(250 FOR ONE $150 for each additional--payable on the VRBO website when you book.

There were 14 in our family and the house was very comfortable and clean. Outdoor space was great. The pool has a leak and we had to fill it with the garden hose which was not a problem. The only other thing is that the kitchen could use some more dish towels and wash clothes. Great location! Would definitely rent it again.

Wonderful interactions with owner. Everything was perfect. Plenty of room for large families. Super close to the beach. Enjoyed the dock on the marsh way more than we thought. There was even some crab traps there and we caught some blue crab!

We could not have been more pleased with the house and the location. Fun riding golf carts to most areas we needed or wanted to go. The beach was not crowded at all. Linda and Dennis (owners) were wonderful and answered all our questions promptly. Highly recommend this property!!

Amazing Property and Location!

My family has been coming to the area for years and this is our favorite property we stayed! The house is just as shown from the listing. Plenty of room for everyone. We loved being on the marsh and caught some crabs. The beach is so close. we rented golf carts and you can drive around town. Note - the immediate beach by the house didn’t allow tents. If you have a tent go down a few blocks from the hotel and we were able to use ours

The space was very roomy and quite comfortable. It has the best of both worlds. I particularly love the salt marsh. Which the house is located on. For those who wanted the ocean, you could throw a rock and hit it. Literally one block to get to public access. Perfect.

A great family time together

The house was as described. The location was great. Very nice to have a private pool. Grown kids and grandchildren enjoyed catching crabs off the dock. The dock was very nice, sunsets were beautiful across the marsh. Great space for everyone to have their own private bed and bath. I would recommend this house.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Linda was a joy to work with...she quickly responded to our questions and provided solutions to any concerns. The house is very well designed with a bathroom attached to each bedroom...perfect for our 3 generation family. The pool is clean and delightful to use. Great space with private baths for every room

Great house, plenty of space, even an extra half bath outside of the ones allotted for each of the 5 bedrooms. Balconies for each room, plenty of parking and an overall great experience. The owner was super nice and personable, she made the experience so easy and comfortable. I'd definitely stay there again.

This House is Perfect for big families.

The house was nicely equipped. The kitchen has everything you need to cook with. The bedrooms where very nice and clean. 5 bathrooms was awesome! Esp for big groups. Nice pool and lounge area out back and a nice deck for fishing on the marsh! I highly recommend this house! Until next time! Ryan and the crew!
