My family enjoyed our long weekend at this cottage, especially the access to canoes, kayaks, and stand-up paddle boards from the golf club. The cottage itself was spacious and has many expansive windows from which you can enjoy the view of the outdoors. The closed-in porch was our favourite place to eat meals and enjoy the serenity of the location. It was cleanly outside of a few pieces of recycling leftover from the previous renters scattered throughout the property, such as plastic cups and cigarette butts. Overall, we had a relaxing time, but the listing was not clear about the level with which you share all of the amenities with the other club cottages, which negatively impacted our stay.The beach access is quite a ways walk from this particular cottage, which would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. It was a trek for our toddler, who eventually needed to be carried, which is tricky when you are already transporting various bulky beach-going items. There is only one fire pit to share between 8 or so cottages, which meant arriving early, sharing (if guests were amenable), or missing out. We therefore only had one campfire during our time, which was disappointing. You cannot control how neatly the other renters leave the beach, which meant wet PFDs left out overnight and oars from boats sitting on the sand. A more accurate description of the property would assist in future prospective renters in making an informed decision about choosing to stay here.
