Villa Heliodor, along with its sister villa, Villa Larimar which we also feature, is nestled on the hillside on a stunning 3.5 acre green and rocky plot on the St Lazarus peninsula. It overlooks the gorgeous Psarou Beach and withing very easy reach of Ornos, Mykonos Town and the renowned south coast party beaches of Paraga, Paradise and Super Paradise. The hillside location is very tranquil and picturesque with stunning panoramic views down to the beach. Psarou Beach attracts local and international celebrities. It is one of Mykonos’ trendiest beaches, always busy in the summer. The scenery is very beautiful and swimming in the crystal clear emerald water is amazing. Psarou’s upscale beach club, Nammos, is very popular and offers outstanding, exclusive treats.

Villa Heliodor enjoys many traditional Cycladic features including gorgeous painted beamed ceilings, an abundance of lovely curves, brilliant white walls and built-in fittings and furniture. The villa features two wonderful terraces, one being home to a fantastic swimming pool and alfresco dining with a view and an upper terrace boasting sumptuous outdoor lounge furniture and stunning panoramic vistas. The villa has been built over three levels with one bedroom on each level plus an exterior studio.

On the lower floor you will discover open plan living spaces and an immaculte contemporary kitchen as well as a sensational master bedroom. The living area is comprised of a light drenched lounge with a feature fireplace, a sumptuous corner sofa and beautiful wall recesses. The painted beamed ceiling flows through to the dining area. Again, it is a bright and beautiful space with soft drapes at the windows, trendy lights over the dining table and plenty of space. On the other side of the hallway is the excellent, modern kitchen. The contemporary interiors of this dreamy villa creates a modern and elegant concept of flowing indoor and outdoor living. The master bedroom suite is very spacious with a calm ambience in dazzling white and natural hues. Its kingsize bed is extremely comfortable and is adorned with luxury linens and accessories.

On the next level you will find another outstanding master suite with twin beds and a stunning en-suite bathroom. The remaining master is located on the upper floor with a sumptuous king-size bed, ensuite bathroom and a fantastic wooden beamed ceiling. All of the bathrooms offer curved, dazzling white walls and features.

The final bedroom is a beautiful exterior suite where the stone walls have been painted white and the double bed is built-in. It also enjoys a delightful, bright bathroom. This room is ideal for guests that may appreciate a little private space.

Villa Heliodor enjoys stunning outdoor space. The swimming pool is beautiful with luxurious loungers surrounding it. To one side you will find a delightful alfresco dining space which is covered to shelter you from the brilliant sun. An upper terrace enjoys similar, luxurious lounge seats, a perfect spot for some cocktails, enjoying the fabulous landscapes and seascapes and to enjoy the stunning sunsets. The trendy beach of Psarou is popular with many celebrities for its beauty and crystal clear emerald waters. You will always see many expensive yachts in the water. The exclusive Nammos Beach Club tantalises tastes at its impressive restaurant. It offers luxurious treats with its complex of four private cabanas which each has a private outdoor jacuzzi with magnesium salts, luxury skincare products for the beach, individual restrooms and delicious bespoke treats from the dedicated chefs. The award-winning Paradise Beach Club has been around for 50 years and offers a buzzy party scene. It attracts famous DJ’s from all over the world.

Ano Mera is a delightful shopping, dining and cultural destination. It boasts many quaint shops and cafes spilling out onto the cobbled pavements and many ancient, fascinating buildings. It is especially popular for Sunday brunch and the fresh produce market where you can buy local cheeses. Delicious Greek pastries can be bought in the bakery. The beautiful Byzantine Panagia Tourlaina Monastery was orginally founded in 1580 and is fronted by an ornate bell tower with triple bells. Its massive alter screen was made in 1775 by Florentine artists and the carved marble and wood, frescoes, crystal chandeliers and gilded pulpit are all extremely impressive. The monastery is open by appointment.

The Vioma Organic Farm and Vineyard is very interesting to visit where you can take a tour along to the sounds of classical music. The vineyard produces red, white and naturally sweet red wine. There are also 20 beehives producing pure honey, organic seasonal vegetables grown, bread baked in the traditional wood oven and dogs, cats, chickens, turkeys, rabbits and the donkey called Marika are all part of the farm’s family. You can taste the wines and many other traditional products such as xynotiro, a hard sour cheese, tyrovolia, a fresh sour cheese, kopanisti, a spicy cheese and louza, a ham similar to proscuitto. For desert, you can taste the Mykonian amygdaloto, a sweet made of almonds and rose water.

Mykonos Town is an enchanting warren of narrow lanes covered in bougainvillea. Lined with picturesque churches, quirky art galleries, chic boutiques, jewellery shops and charming restaurants, visitors love an afternoon meander. The town’s museums, the Archaeological Museum and the Aegean Martime Museum, are interesting.
